Hey Tif,

Recently I had a conversation with someone who made a comment to me about Carl Jung.  That comment is a good answer to your question.  He said that as Carl Jung was developing his theories over the years on several occasions he had the need to move from one group of friends to another, and then to another---reason being that as he matured and evolved and his friends did not---he simply moved on.  It was important for him to have a group of people around him that could stimulate his thinking while also contributing to his evolutionary ideas.  So that's my story---I've been involved on other forums and now I'm here.

Hey Jessica, just got back from vacation to read your response. That is very insightful and so true. If we stay in a group that we no longer evolve with, usually we implode in some way; if we move on to a group that provides us opportunity to expand, we flourish. Ideally the group itself should evolve so we can stay with it because it grows as we grow...usually due to lack of hierarchy or the right kind of hierarchy that does not interfere or inhibit but merely organizes in a subtle way to bring the most pertinent points to clear view. I have found that to be the case here at SW and I hope you find the same This be wild country...but with heart.
