I don't understand why we can't edit posts.

I'm working on something in this regard... first trial is in RF... I actually changed something 2 days ago but since no one noticed anything that they mentioned, and I had no time to inquire I am not sure it was of any use yet. There was that 4 hour editing period that just doesnt seem to work. But I think I can give deleting powers - then if one needs to edit they will just repost their post and delete the previous one. This is all still in the planning phase, I need to get a second opinion and then some time to check on making it happen (I will have to make a new group and put everyone in it that I deem worthy of delete powers - not cause that is the way I roll but because that is how tapatalk makes it). Edit might get in there too. Anyway, yep, the Spirits of tapatalk are not as generous as they led us to believe...

I love Tapatalk! It forces us to adapt it brought change! A new way of doing things!

It's also hilarious to see the admin struggle. It's not the most admin friendly but hey, it's free. Free stuff often requires more effort. If you want a more intuitive platform then you'll be paying for better service

I can't receive PMs from Derek if anyone else PMs me and I don't reply it's most likely Tapatalks fault.

that is quite weird because serloco is not a new member (like Kaomea and Ssable were). There should be no reason why his PMs would not reach a member who receives other PMs just fine. I am on vacation now and cannot really wiggle around in the admin panel. I delegate to JJ .

I took a look in the admin panel and didn't see any restrictions on PMing set for anyone. If anyone is still having problems either sending or receiving PMs, let us know and I'll check again.

What is going on with the design of the site? Is that Tapatalks doing o.O?

in a nutshell: tapatalk did some changes in CSS or something. Our water background went blank. JJ fixed it and played around a bit.

Is all the text deliberately bold?

It'd be good if it was regular font weight so we can emphasize words with bold.

I like the way JJ cleaned up the visuals. Sorcery is more modern now.

Wolf's stuff was dated so I'm pretty happy Tapatalk came in and forced change. Even with updated backgrounds, the post-wolf-era and pre-Tapatalk-era was kind of dated too.

That and I have access to way more smilies than I ever did on Yuku!

I'm smitten with Tapatalk's acquisition and JJ's simplicity.

I find it nice to make things better than we receive them. To improve or restore things we gain control over for a time. A nice parting wish before we leave them. I feel like JJ has done that. He visually transformed Sorcery. It is better than it was when he acquired it. It's not perfect (as nothing is ever really finished) but it's a perfect stopping point or place to pause.

Overall, Sorcery has undergone a massive transformation from how it began. I wonder how much more change there might be in the future. Without any seriously devoted people investing in it, maybe not a significant amount of growth. That's ok too, it means growth is merely happening elsewhere and in other ways.

What a fun journey Sorcery has offered her patrons. So much personal growth has occurred. A place of mystery and magic for many. It was a beautiful experience. Also, a bittersweet ending in my experience. I came in hoping for a home. I found a home, but Sorcery wasn't it. Sorcery lead me home and that's still pretty d@mn special in my book. Sorcery was unexpectedly satisfying. What more could I ask for?

JJ, how would you describe your experience of Sorcery thus far since you're injecting a pause?

Total number of members is 700... Interesting (I remember all the inactive member deletions I did when we transferred to tapatalk I wonder how this number appeared lol). I was about to come here to say the site will most likely be moving to a different place. And then my eye found the number of members as I was waiting for this page to load and I thought that it is just the right time. Omens, gotta love 'em . Of course the whole thing might take a while before it's ready. But the decision has been made.
