It's that time of year where the season changes and I make my seasonal background request for something different (my brain lurves stimulation). Since WG has important adulting to do, and JJ did such an incredible job on the last change (winter was gorgeous!), perhaps JJ will take time away from his super serious adulting to change things up a bit around here? I love spending time in pretty (or interesting) places.
For future reference:
Northern Meteorological Seasons
Spring runs from March 1 to May 31;
Summer runs from June 1 to August 31;
Fall (autumn) runs from September 1 to November 30; and.
Winter runs from December 1 to February 28 (February 29 in a leap year).

I'm glad you liked the winter one. That one almost put itself together. The first three pictures I looked at all fit together nicely and turned out to be the ones I used. This time it's requiring a bit more effort. I'm not sure how I like it now. Any suggestions?

Individually the three backgrounds are great. Together they are not aligned. The sunny skies don't match the deeper blue sky. The sunny water doesn't match the nighttime lit water.
Also, how does the background reflect the site? The background is a beautiful portrait of materialism. The people of Sorcery aren't portraits of materialism. They are from middle or low class economic backgrounds. They are also very earthy and spiritual. They probably don't spend much time in hotels like this. Instead, they probably spend a lot time in nature, raw environments. I hate writing prompts myself, but a picture prompt may serve you some way: how can you showcase the natural beauty of spring or summer?
Your winter was so natural, raw, and silent. Nature brings peace (and chaos), depending on how you capture it. Capture it any way you desire, but it would be lovely if you would capture nature in some fashion.
I'm excited you're working on it

I thought of a better picture prompt: what sort of energy do want to see more of at the site? What energy are you celebrating at Sorcery?
Your background is an invitation. Who are you inviting? Nature can be sensual too, though that's a side point. Sensuality is very fluid and adaptive.
Can a background be that dangerous and influential? I've seen it behave as such. Marketing is a billion dollar industry and very good about tapping into such manipulative forces. It's a neat opportunity to take advantage of something within your control. Oftentimes, when freedom permits, I like to ride on energetic invitations others set.
What invitation are you making to the patrons of Sorcery? Many accounts have invested energetically and financially. The background is one of many ways to steer your ship.

An invitation is a pretty good way to describe it. Right now I'm hoping for a background that shows a place where people can hang out comfortably. Where there's nothing that needs to be done, no concerns plaguing us, etc. A place to go mix with no fears or expectations. Perhaps a stopping point before we all decide where to go next.

The place you describe would require every participant to be on the same (or even a similar) level. Capable of at least seeing in a unified manner for a brief period of time. Many eyes seeing as one is a struggle with varying intellects, education backgrounds, mental wellness differences, and cultural differences.

It's what is often called an uphill battle.
You ask for a lot
It could serve as a stopping point, a gathering place. That's how I use it. I stop in, scribble down notes, head back out. I'm mostly scribbling to an empty room but there a few who are an audience. Productive chats are important to keeping people tethered to a location.

lol, you really think we can't all just chill out and relax somewhere unless we're similar in intelligence, perspective, backgrounds, culture, and all agree on the coke versus pepsi debate? What if we pour them into glasses and hide our cans? Then you'll never know which soda I'm drinking so you can't lecture me on how wrong I am.
You make a good point about productive chats though. It'd be nice to have more of that here.

I think I could lecture anyone on how wrong they are, regardless of the unmarked drinking vessels
Productive chats often come from transparency, trust, and a desire to share information (receive and provide). Missing components lead to untetheredness. Untetheredness is sad. There is so much valuable information to share with people who are dedicated to an idea larger than the self. Untetheredness, left unchecked, results in a serious lack of fun. It's an unthinkable fate.

Does that lamb look worried to you? Maybe he knows something you don't! Perhaps that's the nagual in lamb's clothing!
Pixie, your comments about untetheredness seem to run contrary to what most of the others have told me. I agree that being tethered can be a lot of fun, largely due to the loss of control aspect. Then again, being untethered from everything sounds like the ultimate loss of control. If one is to be tethered, they'd be best off being choosy about what to be tethered to. What do you want to be tethered to?

I suppose I've been told I'm a bit different than the norm. I don't really see control being linked to tetheredness in the manner you mention. Maybe it is that way for you.
If I must be tethered, I enjoy being tethered to humanity. They're a different sort of special.
