Hello Nagual Lonewolf,



Since I am here I feel that I may be suitable to take over as Music moderator. My own background and experience with music is extensive. I am a Guitar teacher. I also teach bass and sometimes percussion. I have played in bands, helped solo performers progress and I love to jam! I would like to hear more about what this post involves if possible. I am happy to tell you anything more about myself that you may wish to know meanwhile I will check out the music forum and see what it is all about.

Lea....I thank you so much for offering and I will gladly accept your help but there is one problem. I do have a rule here that no members with the extension .parallelperception to their name can be a moderator or have admission into the private forums that exist here. If you change your name we can totally accept your help as I feel you mean no harm and are sincere in your offer. Again please no not take this personal but it is based on the experiences we had had here with members from the PP forum.

How can you ask Lea to not take this personally when it seems you are? 
Isn't this also personal history on your part, since it's your discussion board, and yet you still have 'rules' against those with a mere suffix on their username?  Personal history of a competitive nature not only against Lujan but an entire subscriber database?  Please keep in mind that I'm not a Lujan groupie nor know much about him.     
Wouldn't this be a great stalking maneuver in self importance to offer an olive branch to those on difference forums?  What could have possibly been said here that is so bad as to create such rules?  As well as, if something IS said that's unaccepable, doesn't that depend on the independent person, not an entire group of people?  I mean, you just said it yourself, that Lea seems to be a fine person.   
Am I out of line for asking these questions?? 
Why is there so much fear in regards to the PP group or the members?  I mean, if it's not fear, why the rules? 
What's a rule, anyway?  A form of consensus?  To keep the crazies in line?  Keep in mind that 'crazy' is a numbers game.  Enough people behave in a 'crazy' manner and it's now the norm.  I was under the impression that rules and structure were items to be examined, such as personal history, self importance and such?  Sure, have a rule in regards to no personal attacks.  Ok.  What else? 
Sorry, but I guess I'm missing the 'detached and at ease' part when there's fear being shown to another discussion board.

What is our conception of who we are as a group here on the Shamanic Warrior?  We, who reside in fear of another group posting something we can't accept?  Personal history of past experiences?  I've found that those who make my blood boil also have something to teach.  What personal history in me reacted?  Why?  How to solve this?  You get the picture.
If I'm banned for these comments, so be it.  I'm grateful to you for the opportunity to allow me to share my thoughts; the good, bad and perhaps ugly.

No problems SHM...and theres no way such comments would cause you to be banned. As for this decision..I base it on past intents. I made the decision awhile back. I understand your stalking maneuver but will not change this board directive. This board is not the teachings of Don Juan but a refection of them as you point out quite nicely. I am definably not a fine person. Not yet! The reason I jumped at the offer is because I was wondering weather I should be here or not. When I saw the Naguals post it clicked that that would be a valid place for me. About three years ago I signed up to PP but changed my mind about the site quite quickly then tried unsuccessfully to cancel my whole account. The Yuku system is not user friendly in my opinion. I have not posted there more than once or twice, over three years ago. I have no problem changing my name although as yet I do not know how. If it is doable for me now I'll change it.

Yes, Lea I wish there was a way...I never did find one. What happened is I just ended up using a relative's email to sign up for a new account, because it told me my own email was linked to old account. So if you have a mom, dad, significant other, brother or sister that will let you simply use their email address, then just create a whole new account. All that will happen is they will get alerts once in a while when someone PMs you, other then that, the email is not big hassle.



It is very non-user friendly. There should be a way just to change without using a different email. Perhaps there is, but I tried and could not find such a way. You can also ask yuku help and they may be able to do it or show you a way. For me it was just easy to use my relative's email.

To lend my input to the topic here...Wolf suggested to me on a few occasions I could drop the pp tag. I resisted because I didn't want to do something unless I was good and ready to do it, so him telling me actually made me want to keep it, lol, stubborn me..but I wouldn't have me any other way. I finally one day decided to change it because I just wanted to see my name period, nothing I say is endorsing any place. In a way, these tags can be like free advertising. I don't think they do it anymore when you open an account now...but could be wrong. The generic tag is the nicest, I think.

I'm saying maybe there is nothing to look at...sometimes it's what the other is doing...sometimes. And so measures can be taken to address the relative behavior.



I loved your post...be as bold as you want I say. As long as the intent is respectful of the person addressed, which I felt it was in your case here.
