a bang in my ear
#1
Hey Warriors I was wondering if any of you ever had this kind of bang in your eardrum just before you fall asleep. It's a weird thing And yes i did
consider being a drummer could be the reason, but i dont think thats why thanks

Yes, this has happened to me. I have also been startled awake when I was just falling asleep by a voice yelling my name - and I knew it came from my head. As I
was studying psychology at the time in college, well I can only tell you I was terribly afraid that I was going crazy. HEHEHEHE - that was twenty years ago,
what they say about hindsight being 20/20 is correct. I am laughing my ass off at my old past self, what a silly girl. Don't worry about it, it is very
normal and quite common from what I know.

fortunately no bangs in my eardrums before I fall asleep. Rarely I hear music

during the transition.

No bangs, but like seeitall I hear music rarely. It is always instrumental, with no human voice, no words. It happens like this,I listen to some music, then I
turn it off.It keeps playing in my ear with all the instruments, while I am not even sleepy at all.I am walking around during this. But it rarely happens.

A few times I have experienced a loud noise like a gunshot.

At least twice the circumstances were that I was lucid dreaming and or astral projecting. When the gunshot sounded I was immediately hurled back into the body.

The other time was when I stopped the world. I had been doing mushrooms that evening, and following the Don Juan methods laid out in JTI for about 1 1/2 to 2
years. When I heard the noise, it was, as in the other instances, accompanied by the very accute sensation of something popping in the nape of my neck as if
somthing broke. I knew at that moment that I would not be "coming down" the next day.

I was correct inthat knowing.

I believe the "silver cord" is the connection between the body and astral body or soul and has something to do with this noise.

When snapping back into the body, it was as if I was pulled back forcefully by a cord attatched to the nape of my neck.

The speed at which this happened was amazing to me.

I never did mushrooms but have had OBE's that have occured with out any drugs. Just medications for depression.

My dreams would start off like I was falling or rolling off a mountain . Then I would feel a jolt and fall into sleep.

When this would happen I would naturally become lucid knowing that I could leave my body , see myself lying on the bed

and proceed to float through the wall

of my bedroom knowing I could return to me. lol...

I haven't had these kinds of dreams for a good 10 years. Maybe some shrooms to get my mind re-activated.
