Everyone has intent and will. When they know you inside and out they actually intend you to remain that way. They know and expect you to keep on being you. It creates resistance to change. It pins you down.
Remaining elusive is the best way. Not to divulge every lil thing about yourself. Especially the bad stuff. You may find yourself being a puppet under control if you do.
Take age for example. Everyone intends to grow old and everyone intends for everyone else to grow as well. If someone doesnt know yoru age then it becomes difficult to accurately gauge what you should look like. If people think you are younger then you are then they actually intend for you to be younger.
Riding and controlling other people's perceptions is a way of life for some. I can tell you a lie about myself and if you believe it then your intent and will is actually intending for me. Its gives me power and ability. Telling you all the right information can indeed be a fuel.

Every time another person gets involved it's like losing another degree of freedom.
But also it's not like YOU can just walk into the woods and build a pyramid.
I'm sure there are lots of things you can do by yourself, but I'm also very sure the logistics of pyramid building isn't one of them.

I tried out the tapatalk android app, by the way, and the "signature" function is ridiculous. It just adds it in plain text at the end. Ridiculous. I could have TYPED that if that's what I wanted to say.

People dont take away your freedom unless you let them, you do it to yourself by divulging too much personal history. The less someone knows about you the better.

I take network security very seriously, but even I am willing relax it a bit in order to get on this thing from work. Like if my boss catches me doing this, well... it's not good, but what's the worst thing anyone can do about it?
Intel IS a commodity. Do you use Facebook or are you on a computer running Microsoft 10? You mentioned Ebay, I definitely saw you mention Ebay. They know everything about you worth knowing. Maybe not all of them, maybe the data isn't all in one place, and very likely it's just stored in a data center somewhere and no human being has ever actually had eyes on it... but they could. It is amazing how accurately one can fill in the lacunae given an adequate number of even seemingly unrelated data points.
But also, that said, it might NOT be so bad to make a running leap right out the closet door. It seems to have done the gay community more good than harm so far.
