A man goes to a bar with his dog. He goes up to the bar and asks for a drink. The bartender says "You can't bring that dog in here!" The guy, without missing a beat, says "This is my seeing-eye dog." "Oh man, " the bartender says, "I'm sorry, here, the first one's on me." The man takes his drink and goes to a table near the door.



Another guy walks in the bar with a Chihuahua. The first guys sees him, stops him and says "You can't bring that dog in here unless you tell him it's a seeing-eye dog." The second man graciously thanks the first man and continues to the bar. He asks for a drink. The bartender says "Hey, you can't bring that dog in here!"



The second man replies "This is my seeing-eye dog." The bartender says, "No, I don't think so. They do not have Chihuahuas as seeing-eye dogs." The man pauses for a half-second and replies "What?!?! They gave me a Chihuahua?!?"

Heh...is that what you "see"? Actually, its a serious question. I've managed to see what seems like energetic outlines, sort of a white border around people and engaged from time to time in "reading" others energies by trying to find where they are in a darkened room as I presume most have done, however, other than a novelty, I see no purpose to it.

Seeing and silent knowing (gnosis) are closely connected.  One cannot have silent knowing unless one is willing to *see* what s/he may not want to see.
As for seeing energy, such as the luminous form, if nothing else it is a reminder that we are not these fragile mortal forms which we perceive with the eyes.  The universe is made of energy and so are we.  *Seeing* that gives us knowledge.  *Knowing* that gives us power.

I used to think that seeing was something done with the eyes. I used to see the glow around people and think it was seeing. You can see it around plants and most easily at twilight, but seeing is something different. If you see someone it is an energetic exchange. There is no guessing about what it is you see, you know. You may say that seeing the luminous egg is something that is like vision, but is only expressed as a visual thing when in fact it is not. You must be in a higher awareness, but it is possible to see at any time. The problem that I have with seeing now is something like the old saying when you stare into the void it stares back. Seeing is a two way street and the person being seen also see, albeit unconsciously. Let me explain something like this: when you interact with other people you get their fibers stuck in the outer parts of your luminous egg, When you see the fibers, for me they are like tiny golden threads that attach you energetically to the other person. When you have sex with some one you get snakes in you from the other person and you put snakes in the other person. When you recapitulate the snakes and when they are extracted they appear like gold and black lampreys that have biting heads and mouths that attach themselves to the energetic equivalents of your sympathetic nervous system. They enter through your sacral chakra, the gate between your legs and snake their way up through your body underneath the layers that the fibers from more casual encounters exist.
To see in this manner you must be in the dreaming consciousness, in a state of higher awareness.

In healing, it is useful to be able to see energy, first, then be able to use it.
