The New Shamans
#1
The NS's will inherit a world of fire and flame. They will lead the way to mankind's rebirth. Out of the forests and wild will they come and fish and
rename the animals left. The NS's will begin the new path to the old ways. The NS's are those who find the spirit and in that spirit will they dream of
what will be their freedom.

Forgive my intrusion, but... why do you care about the time of the "apocalypse"?

You have no warranties that you will live to see tomorrow. Remember death stalking you?

PS: The fateful day rumored is December 21, 2012.

LOL! Grand,

it cannot be closer to the truth ! I've been ill for more than one month now, thinking at first it was a flu but it seems to be a little more serious.
I've finally resign to go and see a doctor. Tomorrow. It's not the first time i'm "flirting" with death. In 1997 i got a severe pneumonia
while being in Mac Leod Ganj, India, and after four days of intense fever especially at night and a few times where i thought i wouldn't pass the night i
went to the tibetan doctor, Yeshe Donden, former doctor of the Dalai Lama. It took four weeks before i healed and a few months to recover.

Then in 2005 i got this intense fever for three weeks, actually much more violent than what i have now, and after three weeks i finally resigned to go see a
doctor so i could get some analyzes because i thought it could be malaria (i spent quite a good amount of time in India). The analyzes didn't show
anything, they even told me that i was up to the average !

My father used to call me "trompe-la-mort" when i was a teenager which translated would be : death-deceiver !

And for reasons i couldn't tell i've always liked skulls and skeletons from a very early age. I remember when i was four years old my mother used to
take me to the Sacre Coeur (i'm from Paris) for walks and in one of the streets to get up there, there was a souvenir shop where they were selling little
plaster skulls and i always wanted to get one. I got a few of them actually !

So yes, this avatar fits me well i guess !

I like your new avatar. The Chariot is a good arcana. I like The Fool. And Arcana13. Tarot can give a lot of answers about the Way to Freedom, isn't it ?

Just one more thing about illness : to me it has always bring a lot of profound insights regarding the truth and the meaning of a human life.

What doesn't kill you... !

I like The Magi, but the chariot is my arcana of choice now. I aim to victory.

Tarot is the oracle of the people. Even to those lacking of intuition it's an accurate range of symbols around ones inner and outer states and
possibilities.

I personally don't like doctors... they are the merchants of pain and death. But hey... they have their lineage of socially-accepted sorcery, witch is not all bad. Few people sees cells, viruses and the inner workings
of the body... but the masses believe in the doctor's descriptions, don't they?

They are the shamans of the modern, "civilized" man. Aren't they morons?

As for sickness itself... it's a great way of gathering and focusing your intent and attention. I know THAT from experience.

As for death... it's my friend. It almost got me a couple of times, but I managed to dodge it.

Yes, Tarot is definetly worth putting one's nose in.

I'm not too fond of doctors either. A bunch of crook for the most part that don't even know what they're doing except making money.

There are three Master Teachers for every being in the universe:

Master Suffering, Master Pain and Master Death. They are ruthless and relentless.

There is no choice in this matter. You have to learn from them until you learn to grow beyond them.

Yep Grand, very true. And if one doesn't learn from these Master Teachers, one is just...fooling oneself !

Masters are masters of their intent and its energy. The master who is complete knows the next step is another level into mastery of perception.
