What is the reason for living?
#1
A warrior will answer the above question by saying" to feed the awareness of what has created me."
A saint will answer with " to go into the kingdom of heaven."
A simple man will answer " to make love, drink, and be happy."
What is the real reason?

Hopefully the reason that I was born was not just to pay taxes.
Sometimes I feel I was created to haul trash and clean up **** at times.

A saint will answer with " to go into the kingdom of heaven."

A simple man will answer " to make love, drink, and be happy."

What is the real reason?

Every being has his own reasons behind taking birth. If you want an universal answer, perhaps this one will work:

To pursue happiness to the best of his knowledge and abilities. So... the quality of your potential happiness depends on the quality of your knowledge. The
more reason for not being narrow-minded about ways-of-freedom that are, essentially, ways-of-happiness.

The One which Creates must create. The One which sees must see something. By reflection That One which Creates shares Himself and His Joy with those which He
Creates, The Many,...His reflection.

Question: What is the reason for living?

1-We chose to come here. It is part of our free will being put into action.

2-To gain a physical body. We must learn to allign our spirit with the will of its creator
even though it dwells temporarily within the confines of a physical body that desires to allign itself with the temporal things of this world. We are here to
master this, to put aside the natural man and put things of the spirit first. It is part of our spiritual heritage, this growth process and we have chosen to
experience it. Thus allowing us to spiritually progress and ultimately return in the presence of our creator.

3-Ultimately, to learn to love, not physical passionate love, the kind of love that unifies
us with the love that created us in the first place. True, genuine charity, that is unconditional and that unifies us in purpose and in spirit with our
creator.

Very deep question Wolf

Well for me i would say it is to give the power of music and the lightness and humour of living to others by teaching, performing and by showing people and my
students the passion i feel.

They always say "i want to play like you Lee" and my response is always the same : you must feel the drum, you must become the drum, and above all
you must Intend it.

So one can be in complete solitude and still have a reason to be here. Like the simple yet complex connection to the spirit is in itself a
full complete life.

For me though i have more to give now than just music I have met a new woman with kids from a previous marriage and i love giving to them for no other reason
than just to be giving.

I mean i was like changin diapers the other day Me changin diapers.... Yuck! but it didnt feel yuck! it felt great. You have to understand
that i have spent alot of time just creating music and this is wonderful but this girl Vanessa and her 2 kids has opened up a whole new way of viewing life.

So to put it simple just creating music and teaching it is not enough for me. The beauty of our relationship is that she knows full well that i will not become
mr domestick and that music is my medataion. If i lost that i would be really unhappy but at the same time being alone (not in love) all the time is to me just
plain wierd.

Fear has may faces and to fear Love is pretty weak, I have been alone crying, hurting feeling dark and lost, so i feel once you have gone through that kind of
stuff you have the right to love again even though you may go through all the pain again if it does not work out.

So live life with a sense of fun and detachment and dont be afaid to give and care about people.

You dont need to explain it cuz most people dont get it or they may misunderstand you and think you are selfish or nuts.

happy holidaze
