Shape Changing
#1
In dreaming often a nagual is taught by the spirit many things that is intended for his nagual side.
One thing I was taught that I will share with you here is the secret of shapechanging. To shape change one must first have of course enough personal power, also that to realize that what actually happens is that your nagual double changes and leaves the body to take the other form. Your human body remains where you left it. To access what your then experiencing is to access your third attention.
This third attention has the two different perceptions availible but usually the sorceror is totally engulfed into the alien perception of the shape his nagual has taken.
The secret is by using breath. The sorceror inhales the breath exhaled by the being he wishes to move his assemblage point to and by his intent keeps its within his body. Such sharing of breath is a most powerful sharing of energy that we as animals can use to join our spirits.
The sorceror that takes the freely given breath of say a wolf will then be able to find the a.p. of the wolf by accessing the breath taken.
Breath contains fragments of our spirit for air is the blood of this world and of wolflands.
Use this knowledge well and remember that the personal power of the animal will affect how strong such a change will work.
More on shape changing to follow:

Is this how we see ourselves in others. I have no good words but I mean the love sharing thing. The mirroring...its a first step right?

Yes, two lovers may kiss and share breath but if the lover is a sorceror and takes the breath of what is kissed then the sorceror may make the binding of the nagual.

Which means...

The binding of the nagual is when intent is used to attach the physical bodies to a common ap point by using that which is dependent to life or being.
A innocent kiss can be used or lock of hair or nail, although this may sound like witchcraft it is just the way of certain rules of existence.
The binding connects two beings by either or both intents if they have enough personal power of course.
If you were to give freely your exhaled breath to me then I would have basically your spirit in my lungs and able to make a binding that would last till death did us part or perhaps even farther.

But since you're an impeccable nagual you would offcourse never do that?
Seriously, WHY would you do that and HOW do I break such a bond if I want to?

Me impeccable? Not I, and being of the old ways...
Why do it? Various reasons. Break it? One must take back the breath the same way it was given.

Can sort of relate to this thread ......
Firstly though a quote from a site:
www.orderofthewhitelion.c...ction.html
"To avoid confusion it is important to understand the difference between Astral Travelling and Astral Projection.
Many forms of visualisation are associated with Astral Travelling, which is a process of projecting the "consciousness" into visual scenes - i.e. in meditation or temple work - with the effect of "feeling" we are actually "there".
Astral Projection is the process of projecting our "Astral counterpart" with the effect of "knowing" we are actually "there".
There is a great difference between the two, for Astral Travelling does not remove us from the physical body, but Astral Projection does."
***
........ For at times I have used breath in addition with intent & visualization for astral journeying i.e. "astral travelling" ... in order to "join" a friend across the world "in spirit".
This "joining in spirit" in turn has then enabled me to know how he is, what he is presently experiencing, doing or feeling etc. etc. etc. .... because in "joining in spirit" .... there is an energy-exchange that happens ......
(Well, actually it was him who taught me about breath in one of these "distance viewing" journeys into his energy-field-presence .... & with quite interesting results I may add !)
After that; - started using the same technique for "Union Yoga" ..... (Yoga meaning Union with the Divine, Infinite Spirit) to propel my awareness into a higher state of attunement with Spirit ...
Breath is a very effective tool.
Haven't used breath in order to "shapeshift" though .....
Hmmmmmm...... Things to do & places to go to !
Thanks for the tip !

The closest that I have ever come to a feeling or a sense of "shape changing" was about the same time last year, when with a couple of friends we went on a few trips deeper into the Central Australian desert country, camping in the National Parks etc.
Saw some absolutely spectacular places, but my favorite place was this one (dry river bed) gorge, where we camped the night.
Early in the night heard some howling in the distance for quite a long time .... but since the park had two camping sites; - thought that it probably was some **** in that distant camping spot pretending to be a dingo or something.
Or maybe it was a real dingo ..... couldn't tell.
Then must have fallen asleep, can't remember of having any particular dreams though, but all of a sudden my dreaming did become lucid, when this eye, which at first looked like an Egyptian eye (The Eye of Horus), appeared in my dream. At a closer look, zooming into the eye, I saw, that was an eye of a dingo eyeballing me, and the eye was wanting to say: "I have seen you !"
This woke me up at once, and just then ....heard this ever so soft short howl near my tent ........... thus "the eye" must have been her & immediately after her howl; -all around us ! ... quite near and much further away ... all the dingos (so many of them ... like one closer ring and then another more distant ring), started to howl in chorus ... howls that the rocky canyon walls echoed ... and echoed ... and echoed ... and echoed ... and echoed ...
That was an absolutely magnificent moment ... !!!!
I was in a total rapture !
After that, couldn't sleep and I started to so long after these dingos, desiring to travel with them into the night ....
Silently in my mind I howled them back ... this special call (I made up in my mind) ... and then .... one lone dingo who had stayed behind .... howled ... m-y call !!!! ... two times !!!!
That was a moment of total magic, when I couldn't tell, whether reality had become a dream, or dream a reality.
In the morning, when we left the camp, "saw" a dingo in my mind's eye on the middle of the road .... ahead of us round a bend of that road, we were driving, and when we went round that bend .... of course, there she was !
Just love it, when synchronistic moments happen like that.
I suppose the dingo who had eyeballed me ... howled my call & the one we saw standing in the middle of the road the next morning, - was the same one ...
I mean .... talking about looking at yourself in the "mirror" or experiencing "Oneness" .... (when you look into an eye of another and see your own very innermost soul & spirit essence looking back at yourself in the form of another) ..... but this time it was an animal .... a dingo .... and we both knew it ! A total vibrational alignment at the very core of your being .... transcending the physical into the realm of magical possibilities.
Later on, at some other places & camping sites ... saw and heard dingoes as well, but the funny thing was, that these different packs felt so strange, even their "signature calls" were like listening to some "foreign language" I couldn't recognize as being familiar ... to me. They made me feel like a stranger in a strange country and a bit nervous, whereas in the above mentioned gorge I had felt a strong sense of belonging to that pack, like they were people that run at night as dingos ..... dingo/people .... that's how I felt.
Must go to that gorge again, for a longer period of time ... maybe .... and see if I can unravel this strange enchantment I felt with that specific dingo pack.
Would love to hear some other people's 'shape changing' experiences or magical encounters with animals .....

The breath exchange, from some reason, reminded me of an experience i had with a plant))
We had a plant with my boyfriend. Once, as i sat in bed watching tv my hands started burning and i felt an irresistible desire to go to the plant and put my hands on it. So i did went to it, i almost hugged it and i put my forehead on one of its leaves. The mental image that came was strong: a white substance began concentrating from the roots of the plant and passed through the whole plant, up to the leaf i had my forehead on and it continued through my third eye and moved through my body down to my feet and earth.
I felt it as a great gift))) as if.. we became one, as if it gave me some of its essence..of its identity.
As for shapeshifting in dreaming, once i did shapeshift into the animal i fear the most on level of phobia. i woke up after that dream in a silence that kept me between dream and reality. The silence was broken after a while by my crazy laughter over my phobia)) "How is it possible to be afraid of what i am?"
I do think though that this particular dream was not shapeshifting but a therapeutic session))
Thanks for bringing the breath thing to our awareness LoneWolf.

A lot of times, I am in dreams percieving through a differetn person... One even many people... like through one and then that one died and then I was someone else and then that person died, and so on until I ended up being the brother of twin sisters and awoke from a sleep freeze....
Once I opened my eyes, one of them pretended not to see me and shut her evil little eyes and pretended to be asleep, the other one was pretending to be asleep and holding back a sort of demonic smile....

Ha! poor people.... this is for you.

Yes, we can "join in spirit" ... even with a plant, thanks for bringing that up ....
& Yes ..... our "totem animal" can often be the one we are most afraid of even to the point of phobia !
