The Oracle
SHamans, Nagual Beings, Seers, Holy men (to use an expression) are not above their human identity. Jesus Christ the most well known Sorcerer of all time had his faults and desires. I say sorcerer because he preformed many sorcerys which are well documented. A nagual being is traditionally "over-sexed". It is part of their genetic code to populate the living world with more of their kind (a mutant species if you will). The regimental doctrines suggested in the books of Castaneda are deprived from ancient Indian translations of how their naguals evolved.

deprived from ancient Indian translations of how their naguals evolvedIs this because it is esoteric? If not could the oracle point in the direction of such knowledge, please

OK LW, I see what you say. Perhaps it is none of my business. I abandoned polyamour some years back. I figure we should settle one on one issues first.

So, here is my primary focus: Predation

In a predatory world, I see my job as two-fold; first, to not be the food of a predator, to survive. Secondly, to not be a predator/tyrant myself. If I recall correctly, don Juan said this is the fate of failure. To end up as a Tyrant. Hell, I was on that path.  If Wallace is to be believed, Carlos failed here, big time. I can't Recap today, but I have had a few cult experiences that verify that.

That is what I find positive in indigenous philosophy; that, to survive, their predatory acts are blessed by Spirit, Deer and Buffalo, and prayer and respect are offered. According to NW amerindians, the spirit so loved man that they took forms that offered food and shelter to man. I like that and offer praise.

None of this is found in modern society, where predators are neighbors on the street, co-workers on the job, and everything is just for consumption without any thought  or respect. Arrogance   Ego   Self-importance   Black magic

Predation is the issue isn't it?

I mean, I don't see anyone, much less myself, as evolved enough to be free enough to be sexually open in a group setting. Used to be , at least I could talk about it without being crude. And , the Alphas are always on the attack. This is not the way. Sorcery is manipulation. Black sorcery is manipulation of so-called loved ones by so-called loved-ones. Save it for the enemy, outsiders. That's the tribal way.

Knowledge, education , harmony: goals yet to be achieved.

note: it's about time I get a new tag line. I had an idea but it was lost in dreams. We know this era is over.

Knowledge is always going to be based on the perception of the world's current seers and "scientists". We have the old world perceptions and the NEW world directions. That we evolve is the main point. Evolve Mornings Son and Hawkeye. Both of you can and will. Both of you can see. Do it. I cannot make you but I can tell you that you can see. Truth is perception. Perception is reality. When the destiny of power uses you be its conduit. Thus new seers are born.

Thanks Lone Wolf for inviting me to See the Key.

I wrote in a clumsy way. As I see it, to evolve is to limit my own predation, not to increase it. There is reaction to action, is there not? Secondly, to evolve is to not be prey. Perhaps, in this context (Castaneda) I am wrong. so be it. I know my path.

Wallace's book could have been a description of  my workplace and the people there; narcissism, greed, lies, manipulations theft, informers. My employer was always making moves on the women. His wife developed cancer, double mastectomy.
Everything has a price. Now he preaches Jesus to me. Gimme a break. I don't call them Apes, rednecks sometimes.

Well this is all for me. I am in danger of obsession. Thanks for tolerating my rant.

Hi Hawkeye,
I haven't read Amy Wallance's book...just heard about it from friends.

One thing to consider about the book is its from her POV. Just like any book is the POV of the authorship usually.

There's this great Japanese movie called Rashomon, great if you enjoy foreign films that is. It examines what is truth. Often times its the lens from which one views and so the distortion is in relation to the viewer's perception (where in life they currently stand). NLW talked about old world perceptions, I think thats apropo...old world perceptions distort the view. Old world perceptions are often contaminated with "narcissism, greed, lies, manipulations theft, informers." You know, all the social dogmas and the effects of employing them throughout the centuries and passed down from each generation.

So for relief of this we can consider "the NEW world directions". We can do this even though others aren't doing it. This is what I got out of reading Wolf's post. Evolving, new directions. We do it alone regardless of what others are doing (the lens from which they are seeing). We can consider all the angles from other people...but what is the one real truth? Does a real truth even exist, or is truth a changing conglomeration of different POV's plus energetic frameworks that help to define collective understanding?

Anyway, here's the synopsis of that movie: In ancient Japan, a woman is raped and her husband killed. The film gives us four viewpoints of the incident - one for each defendant - each revealing a little more detail. Which version, if any, is the real truth about what happened ?
Rashomon (1950)
And I want to say a bit more about POV...its an interesting topic, I think.
Lets say we took four people and put them in different places in Beijing. One is placed in Jingshan Park, another in The Forbidden City, another in the Hutong District and another in Olympic Park.
Then we ask each one...what is Beijing like? (and they have never been to the city before)
The one in  Jingshan Park would probably say "Beijing is vast and expansive city of old and new." (Jingshan offers a bird's eye perspective).
The one in the Forbidden City would maybe say "Beijing is a place of emperial rule and great historic significance."
The person in the Hutong, which are old alleyways (quaint slum-like places, relatively unchanged from a century ago of which live government-supported residents), might reply "Beijing is a city that is struggling to modernize, while trying to hang on to the few refuges of previous life prior to moderization."
And the person at Olympic Park would likely say, "Beijing is on the cutting edge of architecturual breakthroughs (solar powered buildings for example) and a city of promise for aspiring artists, builders, technicians and so forth."
So which is the real Beijing? Which is the real Carlos Castaneda? Which is the real anyone or anything? And truly its not even about locating the real, but rather about evolving beyond the old world perceptions and ways of viewing things. So its about the NEW.

I know you're out there. I can feel you now. I know that you're
afraid... you're afraid of us. You're afraid of change. I don't know the
future. I didn't come here to tell you how this is going to end. I came
here to tell you how it's going to begin. I'm going to hang up this
phone, and then I'm going to show these people what you don't want them
to see. I'm going to show them a world without you. A world without
rules and controls, without borders or boundaries. A world where
anything is possible. Where we go from there is a choice I leave to you.

A world without
rules and controls, without borders or boundaries....aka, social dogmas and collective inertia resulting from such mass intent.
a world where anything is possible...New Seers view

It is said that there is for every two sides of an argument there is a third.
In this case there is psychological research as well as my own experience (and dreams) that inform. Obsessions. Anxieties. Narcissism.
One piece of evidence is all the hostility that has arisen concerning Cleargreen and its practices. Usually, no one sues the doctor that heals.
I have lived in places where the kinds of things in the book occurred. In many ways, those events could be about me and my desires at one time. Perhaps it's my age, but if young men could scale back the sex drive, it would serve them well. It's an obsession.
In this context, maybe Soledad had more reasons than we know for trying to kill Carlos. Maybe, don Juan just wanted to get away from him, but parted in the impeccable manner he taught. My opinion is that don Juan's recommendation for celibacy was for Carlos alone and not a general rule.

On a different subject, I found this which speaks more clearly than I ever could:
'Seth' quotes
"A particularly vivid dream is every bit as real to the inner self as a vivid psychological experience that occurs within the waking state. It is important here that we realize that as far as the basic self is concerned no distinctions are made in this respect. The personality creates its dreams; the dreams are then experienced. The experience is indelibly recorded, and then changes the personality, again, in the same manner that any experience would."

What we are continually seeking are doorways. So to spot a petty tyrant is an opportunity, they are like exit signs, or entrance signs to a new perceptual experience. Remember how in DJ's lineage PT's were sought out?

I agree with you that DJ said about celibacy for Carlos's sake. And our sexual drives are a challenge and the result if we are successful in this battle is maturity.

Ha Ha Wei !

I chuckle because I have never had a problem 'finding' a  Tyrant, petty or otherwise. I was born into a family of them, and have navigated an obstacle course of tyrants ever since!

The difference now, is that I gave up two things concerning them. One, I quit the Christian doctrine of giving love. The 'do unto others' thing. Now, if I do the right thing, it is because it is the right thing to do by my personal discernment, public opinion be damned. This is Controlled Folly, for my acts may make no difference, but I do them anyway. (I admit to occasionally getting attached, anyway)  Secondly,  I have been able to come to terms with GUILT to some extent! Both before and within my knowledge of the Nagual, I have confronted those behaviors that were, and are, abusive. It is a work in progress. How surprising it is to learn that a tyrant lives within oneself! However, at the same time, I have learned that strategies of deception are necessary for survival. Tyrants lie all the time. Why should I be held to a doctrine of honesty that only puts weapons in the hands of an enemy? A pristine honesty was the downfall of many an Indigenous around the world in the face of imperialism. They were surprised when treaties weren't honored.

Some people, in their narcissism, think they fool me. I can SEE through better than ever and don't waste my energy trying to correct them unless absolutely necessary.

Faith isn't blind. Real faith is rooted in experience, even in dreams.

The right to live free from angry outbursts and rage is another rule of Verbal Abuse. Such is the behavior of those with no personal Power , but plenty of self-pity.

Glad to hear you have come to terms with guilt, that is a great achievement. I too had great sensitivity as a child and took on the guilt of heavy handed family members around me, and it took a good part of my adulthood to overcome, but I am grateful for that battle because now I understand guilt is never a solution for anyone. So when these situations arise I can apply this understanding.

I think the best that can be made of PT's ultimately is to see them energetically as thresholds to cross. Also to me, PTs are temporary configurations.

I have great respect for the indigenous people of America, being 1/4 native American myself. I see their wisdom living on in American culture. Its not so obvious, but its there. When looking at western and northern China regions, its amazing how the minority people look and act so much like NA's. Most people think of Han Chinese when they think of China, but the minority people, they are called, are quite different in appearance and culture. I think its these people who crossed over a land bridge to America.

I have learned much from the Castaneda series and other connected information.

One of those is that I have become skeptical of claims made by traditional anthropology. There has been a cultural bias through the centuries that dismissed native legend , for instance (there are a few cases where legend has been affirmed by more recent study. One was about whale remains in a cave of the desert in Utah or maybe Arizona. I don't have it in front of me. From learned indigenous writers, I found that the role of women in American village societies has been distorted if not entirely discounted. It wasn't always just about the war chiefs. Australia has been even more misrepresented.

For Indians , as well as myself, the act of Controlled Folly is especially important. As we must live in this culture, the trick is to hang on to spirit and not be 'sucked-in' , like Indians today who are more like cowboys. At the same time, on must have a 'survival face' that the world sees so as not to become prey. Very complicated. I don't have television feeding me much, anymore. The commercials and lifestyle propaganda seem foreign to me now. That's a start.

Hi Wolf.
Please do a more detailed account of shadows in Silvereye.
What is lurking in the shadows?
An author I like, said that there are no shadows in the higher realms... Do you agree?
So what is their purpose here?
Tx.
Reply
Shadows hold the link to the third attention of warriors. Shadows KNOW they are shadows. What is lurking is the world of which we see but never perceive. In the higher realms? These realms are ones where those who have advanced doubles interact with the nagual spirit and their third attentions of spirit IF they have attained some sort of connecting memory/history stored in the body. Purpose is to cross perceptions and make the leap to realizing the physical link to sorcery.

Hiya Wolf, question for you.

When will Don Juan be leading his next party in our waking reality. Also, are you going to be lead by him or are you leading your own party?

Thanks
Reply
Don Juan is at the place where he can only stay temporary but that time could be decades from now or even longer, when he does and if he will do it in such a way that no dirt will be disturbed.

My party is still in the forming stage and based on what I have been taught I maybe only going with a few because of the Red Sky world that I will be part of.

That's a little sad. Sounds lonely and yet not. I guess things will unfold the way they are meant to. I hope things turn out for the best as your party may not be large but I have no doubt it will be powerful... but extra numbers usually helps. Wow, you rock with being an oracle. Thank you for the knowledge.

Hello Lonewolf,

I was thinking of posting in the 'Introductions' thread as you have recently requested.

Before I do, however, I need your observation.

I have come to see the Nagual consciousness as a similar, and perhaps a  better, description of what we call the Occult, or better, a description of what is generally known to the world as Parapsychology. Sorcery can be called Witchcraft. Some have Powers, some don't. Many of us deny or are confused by our 'Powers'. Others can be harmed or destroyed by same.  There are other 'beings' that share the world with humanity, and are, perhaps, derived from humanity. Ghosts, spirits, angels, demons. We here sum them up as Inorganic Beings, the Foreign Installation is one of them.

Am I fairly on target? Is this what the teachings are about, the Second Attention?

Any observations on the non-Vampire (and non-Christian) works of Anne Rice?  Her stories seem to resonate with my experience, limited as it is.

Rereading this comment reminds me that numerous scholars have cited the Iroquoian Federation as a basis for much of the US Constitution, Bill of Rights in particular.

On target would be a good response Hawkeye. Sorcery is the heart of all teachings from Christian to Hindu to Nagualism.

It's a long confusing path. We choose heart or death. We deny or accept powers, eh? And we lose what we don't use!

"heart or death" Hawkeye, you are talking my language!

It is believed to gain power one must use power. Using power attracts power. Storing power short term is advised, the fi will eat your power if it can.
