On the other side of the Superstition mountains, there is a small town where a little mexican cantina serves some really good salsa and chips. The restaurant is known for its cheese crisps and is a out of the way place where I meet my teacher Valencia sometimes for lunch.
One such day we were sitting at the wood table on the west side of the restaurant and I was going on and on about the assemblage point and trying to get her to comment.
Valencia is a beautiful mexican woman with very dark eyes and skin. She always wears long dresses and a shawl. Often she wears a wide hat that she will bring with her into dreaming.
Next door she was enambered with the bronze ponies that are for sale at the mexican tourist shop.
She then noticed that while I was talking, I was also following her intent with the ponies. I was in the third attention. She asked me to change my perception and to look at the energy around me. I heard her and it seemed that time stopped in that instant.
Without staring I could see blue blobs of energy moving around me and in the restaurant.
They were actually quite funny to watch and I almost begin to laugh. She warned me to be silent and to try and change perceptions. I seemed to blink but in my mind not my eyes and I could see her sitting across the table smiling at me and then I would shift and see her as a blue glowing light.
As I watched I could see her color change to a silverish white and she began to brighten.
I heard a deep reverbing sound that rippled in front of me and I turned from Valencia's energy and saw a blue glob right next to me.
I nearly blacked out but switched or blinked and then the blue blob turned into the waitress. The waitress, a dark haired skinny woman looked at me strangely and asked if I was ready to for my bill. I answered something and Valencia laughed at me. The waitress walked away, leaving the bill.
Val told me she saw I had moved my assemblage point into two places at once. When she suggested I look for energy she knew I was seeing it but not actually aware I could "see" it.
Seeing energy is easy when you have another to nudge you into that world where we are in two perceptions at the same time.
