The Shaman is a healer. The nagual as a Shaman is a healer of more than humans, he is the guardian of the spiritual earthworld. The earthworld is the
combinations of the layers of this planet and its beings. Beings can be organic, inorganic, formed or formless. We as the willers often affect the tides of
human aps. The Shaman Nagual is different than the nagual leader. His power is to be used for helping men and not just himself. These types of healers attract
other's who are spiritual in nature and have met the powers of the dream beings or allies.

There is an Indian chief named 'Medicin story'. I meet him briefly some year ago. He tells stories that heals those who listen. Its a powerful tool I
used it from time to time, you have to open up and let the story come out by it self. I find the process taxing though, but magic it is.
He made a book on it.

I make stories too, but not so much write, but told or interactive once for roleplay or LARP.
The shamanic teaching I got focus on trance by drumming and dancing, from there you seek Knowledge or Power. In relationship to this there is different healing
methods such as extraction of spirits, soul retrieval and cleaning of the aura/energyfield. When you master the method you find your spirit teacher in whatever
you might need.

Question. During dreaming some experience what's known as Glossolalia (speaking in foreign tongues). This has only happened in dreams of great frustration and/or intent to banish something from the dreamer's environment. Should there be concern if this situation happens often?

We all have our inner dream space that we create for ourselves when we are not traveling out of body. It is important to sheild your "inner world" from unwanted beings. When your are doing dream travels "out there" expect to clash with unwanted beings. As for speaking in tongues or foreign languages in dreams... Yes I've experienced myself speaking japanese a number of times. almost liek I had a command over the language which I don't in waking life. It is an interesting phenomena worth more study. My feeling is that you may have been taught in dreams certain word spells to keep beings away, although you may not remember learning such things, your dreaming double always remembers it and puts it to use when needed. sometimes dreams give us a subtle glimpse into our dreaming doubles doings and knowledge.

Eilias, your response is very helpful and answered my concerns.
On a side note, it seems the time has come to find my guide. Would it be rude to just use Intent and drag my guide to me or is the softer approach of waiting a better path? Raise your hand if you'd like to be my nagual? I am a quick-learner, come with my own energy supply, have a great sense of humor (but of course I'm biased), and already have my own IB following me around.
Ok, I realize I'm not being entirely serious but I am being entirely honest. I've learned and done just about as much as I can on my own and wisdom is knocking on my door telling me to find someone who knows more than I do. The time is right, I just need a nudge or two in the right direction. Cryptic responses are fine, my subconscious will work it out.

My advice is to check out the Art of dreaming section of the forum. there are a handful of articles written by myself and other people. These articles contain a wealth of simple tools you can use to help answer some of your questions. I'll be posting a rather fitting article soon enough. hope this helps.

From what I have experienced, a true healer won't stop with just healing humans. In the dream state I am a healer, and I have also met many other healers, several of them are Shamans. One of the Shamans is a man I know quite well, his belief is that all life is precious, not just humans, but also other animals (humans are also animals), plants, insects, fish... every living thing. Some of the healers I know don't stop with healing the body, they are also soul healers, they can also heal the soul / heart of someone who is consumed with anger, hate, and pain. Is that something a Nagual could also do? Heal the soul? I know about the cracked energy cocoon, but I have never been entirely clear on what abilities a Nagual will have, or maybe it is different for each individual.

Hi Raven, true healers don't stop with just healing the physical body. It moves past the body and into the energy field, the entire being can be transformed. But that's a hell of a lotta work and people possess healing abilities in the same numerous varieties as there are ice cream flavors. I see no reason why a Nagual wouldn't possess healing abilities if that's a gift the person has. Naguals have a various assortment of abilities, it varies depending on the interest, purpose, and energy of the Nagual. Gifts can also grow, shrink, and change depending on how the gifts are used.... but you already knew all of this.

hey my brother used to speak japanese in his sleep too. or thats what it sounded like to me. probably the hard sharp sounds rhythmically connected with vowels that make it simple to recite
