TOPIC goes like this.since early times man has had great fun and games scaring the **** out of each other..a shamans scary glove puppet, a witchdoctors rattle, a spider/snake/bone, rabbit/snake skin thrust at the right time.. would produce a RECOIL in the afraid.
for a shaman to manipulate the assemblage points of victims through scene, setting, ritual objects has its heritage.
HOWEVER
ever since photorealism, virtual reality,the moving image and CGI we have the curious experience of people rRECOILing from a plasma/lcd, projection. screen.we have people screaming at horror films. creating a space around the technology..we also have medical students learning through the technology.. as well as heterosexuals, homosexuals, pedophiles, rapists, abusers and lesbians masturbating at technology etc..
I find it very strange that the SYNTAX media exerts over the HABITUAL ASSEMBLAGE POSITION is so overwhelming..we should be able to see a TV as a plastic box with glass screen and noise making speakers.. regardless of that which is depicted..
we should be able to switch our immersion in media illusion ON/OFF as and when we choose to..We should be able to choose our depth of involvement in its language!
We should be able to do the same with the rest of the world.. but first with the technology..

in about february 1995.. i think an inorganic world opened which no assemblage position can ever find.It is NON human.. and was created by the habitual energy bodies recoil from false stimuli.the FIGHT or FLIGHT response was needless for the billionth time.. and it carved out a new world.
