Good and bad are sides of a coin created by man. I feel like things are

human's is difficult. The question follows...Do we, sorcerers, help our
fellow human's or watch them drown in self-importance?
Remember...compassion is self-importance in disguise. Do we further
distinguish ourselves from the old sorcerers, or to we join them in
greed?
As sorcerers, helping ourselves will in turn help the human race. It's like a flock of birds flying, the momentum from all of the birds' wings helps keep the entire flock in the air. .

One thing is for sure, there is no turning back. We already face extinction, so things are pretty simple: change or die.But then again, it is only in the moments of crisis that one gets a glimpse of awakening, so maybe this crisis is exactly what people need to realize their own madness.I see no reason to speculate on the direction of this planet and the people, since future is only an intrinsic part of the present.Since we have absolutely no control upon the change of others (we may influence others, of course, trough different methods, and have them act as we want, but that's not a real change in them; also we have control over others only the part that they allow us to have ... too bad most are too dumb to realize it), and since we have little control upon ourselves, then we may very well write thousands of pages which will be utterly meaningless.
I understand Sacateca's anger very well, been there myself for a good number of years (probably it is a necessary step for some of us), but once one realize that is just a waste of energy to focus on what others do or do not do, on how they are or how they should behave, then something else reveals to you. You are no longer completely bounded to the external world, space arises within and even if you're still going back and forth from being lost in the external world to maintaining your attention within (which is a key point to be aware in the here and now), a degree of awareness will always be there. Therefor, we better first ask ourselves how can we change ... or better said, how can we allow the changes within us, since there's nothing we can really do to change ourselves, we can merely allow the change to happen.
I remember when i first read the Power of Now and started with all kind of hopes and expectations, but only recently i realized the deep truth Eckhart Tolle was stating: "it is nothing like the ego imagines". All my hopes and desire that i had back then, thinking of attaining all kind of supernatural rewards, just died slowly. But truly, once the first glimpse of awakening happened, there's no turning back. I can't go back to my former self, no matter how much i want to, yet part of me is just slowly delaying and stealing second after second.
As far as i'm concerned, body awareness will anchor us in the here and now and reveal everything we need to know about where we stand in this moment, about our state of being. Is up to us if we can accept the reality that the body mirrors flawlessly(as opposed to the games of the mind) or not, if we have the courage to face what it tells us or if we still indulge in the old ways of thinking or behaving. Once the body awareness is lost, we are just as well, lost in our thoughts, imagining, remembering, hating, resenting, fantasising, fearing, all happening on auto-pilot. When lost in thinking, we look for validation from the world.
When anchored in the now, we no longer need any external feedback ... so we pretty much now where we're standing right now, only we don't want to admit it to ourselves yet.
