This thread will be about the Eagle and the wheel of time with a lot of substantiating views from other arts and systems and science.
It isn't the final word, of course. I can't prove that this is what Castaneda meant. It is just my experiences and reason and comparison.
Feel free to contribute, always - I'm sure i don't need to say that, but don't be shy. Unless you want to be shy. I'm sure i don't need to say that. lol!
Thus the first lesson on the wheel of time; repetition, frequency... This is really a huge task so bear with me.
There's lots of these charts. I'll use a couple which emphasize different aspects.
In this one we notice the numbers - exponentially. That's repetition and intensity and speed and frequency...
and especially TIME. It also has some examples of relative sizes of objects.
"When I talk about time, I am not referring to something which is measured by the movement of a clock. Time is the essence of attention;
the Eagle's emanations are made out of time; and properly, when one enters into any aspect of the other self, one is becoming acquainted with time.
The wheel of time is like a state of heightened awareness which is part of the other self, as the left side awareness is part of the self of everyday life.
It can physically be described as a tunnel of infinite length and width; a tunnel with reflective furrows. Every furrow is infinite, and there are infinite
numbers of them. Living creatures are compulsorily made, by the force of life, to gaze into one furrow. To gaze into it means to be trapped by it,
to live that furrow." - "The Eagle's Gift"
So the EM spectrum is also infinite. It doesn't look like that on paper, but notice the arrows at the sides.
Alchemically, this was/is represented by the Ouroboros - a serpent swallowing its tail:

One ancient version of this Ouroboros had the greek words "en to pan" inscribed within the circle, meaning "One, the All".
Briefly, the Australian aborigines also consider a Rainbow Serpent in their creation myths - rainbow = spectrum.
The obvious connection with the serpent is its wave-like nature which we see in modern EM spectrums:

This is an important feature - when we take the spectrum and connect the "ends" which we have said are infinite.
We can take this to mean infinite slowness = infinite fastness. I don't know how to argue that so please don't.
Now I'm going to show you the same thing in another way so don't lose me. Each of these shows something about time and that
should be meaningful to one interested in aspects of the other self and attention, as quoted earlier.
Same as seen from above, a fat serpent:
The fractal and holographic nature is very applicable as seen with the exponential nature of the spectrum.
Now this doesn't show so well the variety of frequencies like the charts on the EM spectrum.
Let me show you where that is - it's there, we just have to look right:
So the faster shorter vibrations are near the center or eye or singularity where things speed up into a black hole;
and the slower larger vibrations are experienced on the outer edges left and right .
Here is another example - the minkowski light cone... remember all of this is light - not just the visible light portion
which is very narrow/small part of the whole. The light cone shows the center portion without the torus:
So remember that the center is the place where the head swallows the tail and black holes and white holes form
two sides of one coin - in the center is a null space - the no-thing, the void, the Source of emanations.
Anyway, as we get closer to this center we are getting faster as space is getting more compressed and in
the spectrum we are moving towards gamma rays, cosmic rays. To get faster and compressed and shorter is
called intensity:
"In those states of heightened awareness you've had an incomparable richness of personal interaction, a richness that your body has understood as a sensation of speeding. The richness of your perception on the left side has been, however, a post-facto realization. Your interaction appeared to be rich in the light of your capacity to remember it. You became cognizant then that in those states of heightened awareness you had perceived everything in one clump, one bulky mass of inextricable detail. You've called this ability to perceive everything at once--intensity . For years you have found it impossible to examine the separate constituent parts of those chunks of experience; you have been unable to synthesize those parts into a sequence that would make sense to the intellect. Since you were incapable of those syntheses, you could not remember. Your incapacity to remember was in reality an incapacity to put the memory of your perception on a linear basis. You could not lay your experiences flat, so to speak, and arrange them in a sequential order. The experiences were available to you, but at the same time they were impossible to retrieve, for they were blocked by a wall of intensity."
Following we can see the similarities in the energy body of man. You even see the left and right sides, but without
their features as CC described.
Remember DJ's statement of how man's energy body is similar to trees?
Does this give you a clue, scientifically, of how we use the earth's boost? :
Macrocosm = emanations at large
Microcosm = man's energy body/cocoon
