From the Fire From Within:
"The Eagle's emanations are always grouped in clusters, he went on. "The old seers called those clusters the great bands of emanations. "They aren't really bands, but the name stuck."
"Think of the great bands as being like trees. all of them bear fruit; they produce containers filled with emanations."
I have been reluctant to write this post being that it will be kind of long, so it will probably take more than a few postings to relate it. Also, it has to do with a personal experience and my interpretation of that experience has changed somewhat over time. Or, maybe it would be more accurate to say that my perspective is "added to" as time goes on. This is the way I see it at this period of my life.
"Now Israel loved Joseph more than all his children because he was the son of his old age; and he made him a coat of many colors." Gen. 37:3
I was sitting in my living room with my wife and my friend Mark. We were discussing spiritual things as we always do when Mark and I get together.
A thought went through my mind.
I had lately been bothered by something. It was that at our church it seemed that we all too often held our minister/teacher above us. In the respect that often times happens in occult circles the teacher is looked at as "more than human". This is not healthy, but it is a fact of life and a block in our understanding spiritual things. I had come to the conclusion that our teacher, though a remarkable man and very "spiritual", nevertheless was just "one of the bretheren".
The thought that went through my mind was this,...
If John,(my teacher) was one of the bretheren, then Jesus..."
I never finished the thought!
Great beams of light came down on me from above. I was enveloped in a power or powers that pinned me to my chair.
The beams of light were alive, I could sense that. They moved back and forth over me, through me and around me for the space of three or four feet. Those beams of light extended from above from forever, I could not tell how far they extended. The same is true for how far they reached into or through the earth. They moved like search lights, only straight up and down. They were of every color of the rainbow and many more colors.
Interspersed with those beams were flames of colored light.
The flames "licked" me both inside and out and "danced" around me and through me. The flames, also were of every concievable color and beyond that. All clear as crystal, but more colorful than anything I've experienced on earth.
The feeling that I was going through was a mixture of awe and exstacy. Though the colors were contantly changing, one thing was the same throughout. Both the flames and the beams nearer to the center of this column of light stayed whithin shades of Pink, though changing shades constantly.
Throughout this experience which lasted probably about ten minutes, all I could do was pray. I felt as if I was wrapped up in a cloak of beautiful power and colored light from above.
" What makes those eight bands produce awareness?" I asked.
"The Eagle bestows awareness through it's emanations," he replied.
His answer made me argue with him. I told him that to say the Eagle bestows awareness through it's emanations is like what a religious man would say about God, that God bestows life through love. It does not mean anything.
"The two statements are not made from the same point of view", he patiently said. "And yet, I think they mean the same thing. The difference is that seers SEE how the Eagle bestows awareness through it's emanations and religious men don't SEE how God bestows life through his love."
He said that the way the Eagle bestows awareness is by means of three giant bundles of emanations that run through eight great bands. These bundles are quite peculiar because they make seers feel a hue. One bundle gives the feeling of being beige-pink..."
"So it is a matter of seeing a hue when seers SEE that the Eagle bestows awareness through it's emanations," he went on. "Religious men don't SEE God's love, but if they would SEE it, they would know that it either Pink, Peach or Amber."
He explained that the gret bands are neither flat nor round, but indescribably clustered together, like a pile of hay, which is held together in midair by the force of the hand that pitched it. Thus, there is no order to the emanations; to say that there is a central part or that there are edges is misleading, but necessary to understanding."
