TO SUM IT UP:
FREEDOM CANNOT BE AN INVESTMENT

Do you know what freedom is? Freedom is the total absence of concern
about yourself. And the best way to quit being concerned with yourself
is to be concerned about others.

"That is not the residue I am talking about," he said, laughing. "The
idea of the abstract, the spirit, is the only residue that is
important. The idea of the personal self has no value whatsoever. You
still put yourself and your own feelings first. Every time I've had the
chance, I have made you aware of the need to abstract. You have always
believed that I meant to think abstractly. No. To abstract means to
make yourself available to the spirit by being aware of it."
He
said that one of the most dramatic things about the human condition was
the macabre connection between stupidity and self-reflection.
It
is stupidity that forces us to discard anything that does not conform
with our self-reflective expectations. For example, as average men we
are blind to the most crucial piece of knowledge available to a human
being: the existence of the assemblage point and the fact that it could
move.
"For a rational man," he went on, "it's unthinkable that
there is an invisible point where perception is assembled. And yet more
unthinkable that such a point is not in the brain, as he might vaguely
expect it to be; if he were given to entertaining the thought of its
existence."
He added that for the rational man to hold steadfastly to his self-image insured his abysmal ignorance.

"Don Juan claimed that what limits human perception is timidity. To be able to manage the
world which surrounds us, we have had to give up our perceptual gift; that is, the possibility
of witnessing everything. We sacrifice the flight of awareness in exchange for the security of
the known. We can live strong, audacious, healthy lives; we can be impeccable warriors; but
we don't dare!
"Our heritage is a stable house where we can live, but we have transformed it into a fort for
the defense of the self; or rather, into a jail, where we condemn our energy to weaken in
lifelong imprisonment. Our best years, feelings, and forces are wasted in forever repairing and
bolstering that house, because we have wound up identifying ourselves with it.
"In the process of becoming a social being, a growing child acquires a false conviction of his
own importance, and what was a healthy feeling of self-preservation in the beginning, ends up
transformed into a selfish clamor for attention.
"Of all the gifts we have received, self-importance is the cruelest. It converts a magical, vivid
creature into a poor, arrogant, graceless devil."

A warrior takes his lot, whatever it may be, and accepts it in ultimate
humbleness. He accepts in humbleness what he is, not as grounds for
regret but as a living challenge.

there is a determinant: commitment to the Death... to the Path, to the teachings.. to the Infinity... out of realization, out of awareness
and the **** Flyer indeed deletes my memory.. ,) so thats the lack of the words.. we feel enlightened by the words and then we are facing the world without enlightment.. so one is commited to practice..

Every
inch of ground takes everything I have. Lessons aen't delivered as
quaint little parables and allegories, but as irreparable losses; lesson
after lesson, loss after loss. Every step is a loss and as long as
there's more to lose, there are more steps to take. Everything is lost.
Nothing is gained.

"The big flaw I am talking about," he said, "is something you ought to bear in mind every second of your existence. For me, it's the issue of issues, which I will repeat to you over and over until it comes out of your ears."
After a long moment, I gave up any further attempt to remember.
"We are beings on our way to dying," he said. "We are not immortal, but we behave as if we were. This is the flaw that brings us down as individuals and will bring us down as a species someday."
Don Juan stated that the sorcerers' advantage over their average fellow men is that sorcerers know that they are beings on their way to dying and they don't let themselves deviate from that knowledge. He emphasized that an enormous effort must be employed in order to elicit and maintain this knowledge as a total certainty.
http://aquakeys.com/d7a6_...easurements-of-cognition
"Tell me, don Juan," I said to end the conversation on a different note, "what is a being that is going to die, really? I have heard you talk about it so many times, but you haven't actually defined it for me."
"Human beings are beings that are going to die," he said.
"Sorcerers firmly maintain that the only way to have a grip on our world, and on what we do in it, is by fully accepting that we are beings on the way to dying. Without this basic acceptance, our lives, our doings, and the world in which we live are unmanageable affairs."
"But is the mere acceptance of this so far-reaching?" I asked in a tone of quasi-protest.
"You bet your life!" don Juan said, smiling. "However, it's not the mere acceptance that does the trick. We have to embody that acceptance and live it all the way through. Sorcerers throughout the ages have said that the view of our death is the most sobering view that exists.
What is wrong with us human beings, and has been wrong since time immemorial, is that without ever stating it in so many words, we believe that we have entered the realm of immortality. We behave as if we were never going to die- an infantile arrogance. But even more injurious than this sense of immortality is what comes with it: the sense that we can engulf this inconceivable universe with our minds."
---
"Sorcerers, however, do have the upper hand. As beings on their way to dying, they have someone whispering in their ear that everything is ephemeral. The whisperer is death; the infallible advisor; the only one who won't ever tell you a lie."

Hey, scout....

Tell me what death is. Have you experienced it? No...I mean your own death. You have a fantasy of why dying might be like, but you haven't a clue what death is...none of us do, until we experience it. And then what? Then, maybe, some other **** happens...nobody knows. Meantime, here we are...mud, blood, beer.

it is not so..
I am not a "scout"
my story and story about my "death" is not so important, read the Power of Silence.
My story is the same in the essence.
What is important: i have reconnected with The Spirit. With the One Spirit. I have returned to The Spirit.
Our true encounter and duty and happiness is with The Spirit
This is a true account, i am authentic.
It was very, very costly return. I was lost. I have nearly died. It took a long time to realize. To realize: to realize the true place of Spirit in my life, to know oneself.
I have screwed up terribly, I have not known what IS important.
Because i have not realized the place of Spirit in my life until then.

This is only an www account i have used to ask one real sorcerer, next door at Mr. Dreamways nagual.yuku.com
I have finished.
People have a real link.
You here have also a real link.
I myself have a real connection link. Thats my connection with Spirit.

I can say we are at fine place here, there are many good people here. I can tell You this:
THE REAL CONNECTION is with THE SPIRIT. Thats universal connection.
By the way, there are other authentic traditions. For example: Zen-buddhism. I know personally one Zen Master, he is from SoTo Dogen tradition. He is living in magical realm too. He is buddha. He lives in silent knowledge AP position. There are other authentic traditions.. it means they have authentic connection. I can name Buddhist realms, and Christian realm, that is Jesus, too you can read buddhist cosmology or new testament for example on that

what is an authentic tradition ? its the connection with the only one Spirit behind everything, thats universal.

I have encountered Nagual party members 8 years ago..

The problem was that Carlos Castaneda had made bombastic claims in his books about being on some "special" way..
but no, its our lives... and the connection link with The Spirit
Armando Torres made a very important account: to tell us we have everything. we can start our own parties and that is.. some of You has already started.
For me, it has taken some time to realize..

This is getting old

and so are you.

Everything you know

and never knew.

Will run through your fingers

just like sand.

Enjoy it while you can.

Like a snake between two stones

it itches in your bones.

Take a deep breath and swallow

your sorrow

tomorrow.

So raise it up and lets propose a toast.

To the thing that hurts you most.

It's your last cup of sorrow.

What can you say?

Finish it today.

It's your last cup of sorrow.

So think of me

and get on your way.

It won't begin

until you make it end.

Until you know the how the where and the when.

With a new face you might surprise yourself.

Like a snake between two stones

it itches in your bones.

take a deep breath and swallow

your sorrow
