It's an exotic yet simple explanation of what freedom is for a nagualist. There is no mention of angels or a hundred virgins or eternal bliss, it
doesn't try to sell itself very hard. The reason that it is so matter of fact is because it is obviously not a message for everyone, it would only

We as human warriors can achieve the third attention for brief periods. This effort takes much energy. We can as warriors have different beliefs that are the
same in the end. The third attention. The joining of cells and life and blood and mind. Shifting into total awareness.
The above quote points to the no return of human life and the burning into the fire of infinity.

This rightly belongs here, for the thread is about the idea that pre-industrial humans may have had some advantages over modern man Thus, my growing interest in' Indians'. Fifty years ago, before true environmentalism became apparent, Carlos Castaneda began his apprenticeship to Juan Matus. What he learned only seemed alien because of the altered culture of the Industrial Revolution. Outside of the specialties of Shamanism, everything Juan taught was once as common to humans as, well, cell phones are today.
And all those long walks in the desert! In and of themselves, they were a catalyst of concioussness renewal, as I once found within myself, and is the core of those most commited to preservation; that industrial civilization has no divine mandate to control, pave, develop, conquer, every square inch of this planet; that, human beings have stepped beyond the bounds; we are destroying the very process of life.

A lack of desire to gain credibility or 'legitimacy' with the gang of thugs running human civilization (!)
An unwillingness to set any group of humans on a pedestal, immune from questioning; be it race, political, class. You and me!
An awareness that we are animals; primates, mammals, vertebrates. reject New Age babble that says we must transcend our animal nature...struggle against the modern compulsion to become dull, passionless androids. (don Juan again!)

Thank you Blue Dreamer. The Nagual has led me into unusual worlds. My recent thoughts are that when I have been in wilderness, alone, my AP is moved. Thus, my
reference to Carlos' desert excursions. I find , in the return to civilization, a different feeling, perception. Therefore, I identify with those who did
the same, and become activists to protect wilderness. It is a warriors way, and , to be effective, at least as Foreman describes it, requires the 'Path
with Heart'. No harm to humans, no frivilous acts, serious purpose, a moments pause before acting. Heavy stuff, in defense of the Mother.

Yeah, I notice a shift when I am out in nature too Hawthorne though I live in a small midwestern town with no great wilderness nearby, we have a couple of
small wooded areas on the outskirts of town and many fine trees within town and a small lake within biking or a long walks distance. A stupid mindset dominates
this town though and most are trapped with their mowers, weed eaters, roundup, and civilized pretense. I admire those who have risked and/or sacrificed their
freedom like many earthfirst activists have for the Mother but I am uncertain as to how effective they can be in this world however I remind myself that there
is a lot going on in many ways right now towards renewal and balance, maybe all these complimentary ways will make a big difference in the future especially as
we careen towards the end of oil and the industriotechnological age. Then those that have practice and knowledge in the areas of wildcrafting, natural farming,
permaculture, alternative energy, natural healing, Spirit, homesteading and grandmas with heart will be largely sought out and in positions to share their
wisdom and ways. So many have no idea what we lost along the way.

I know about this!
There are many people who have made the crossing! and still whistle past us into the paradoxical future.. we ourselves as compartmentalised humans still have
trouble aquiescing.
there is however the awareness of the EAGLE!
Unless you become an advanced SEER, STALKER or ZEN MASTER it is very difficult to comphrehend what the EAGLE actually is!
From the aspect of being a human being hoping to witness the realisation of FREEDOM in a Brother who moves from the immediate mortal coil.. and into that spec
termed oblivion to us and freedom to him!.
The problem is that the eagle itself is saturated with awareness that feeds on the mind that has no body, the DEADMIND if you will..
When you die.. the eagle.. itself splitting your awareness away from your life energy your body upheld!
much of your mind is directly linked to hormones, cyclical thoughta, emotions, and increasingly family connections.. energetic sorceric attatchments.. and
lastly your perception of time!
At the moment of death the eagle strikes a line down your awareness... if YOU intrinsicly get past the line! (i.e. your awareness is travelling freely,
naturally and mostimportantly.. along a life creative path) then your awareness hits that point in the unknowable termed.. .. LIFE PARADOX.. or to put it
simply... it hits that part of the universe which is so crammed and bursting with intelligent life of all shapes and styles that nothing elese exists at all!
as this place exists in potential and in the future and in parrallel...to us today as THE OTHER... it is just a green spec on the horizon.. from a living
beings perspective!
the mind however is not so lucky...
the moment the heart stops beating, and the lungs stop breathing, and the brain runs out of oxygen... everything that supported the mind begins to break
down...
should your awarness be mind based.. your awareness will come under increasing pressure, not just from the lack of physical support structure causing your
minds demise!.. but also by repeated strikes from the eagle as it purposeley... points to life paradox with its beak awarness.. and destroys awareness that has
no life to support it with its claw(metaphoricly)
NOW.. from another perspective what the eagle is doing... is closing the underworld bridge... preventing the dead mind from being used by man who is still
alive as a magical tool! and also ensuring that the reincarnating spirit is not left stuck in the remnants of a life.. when the universe still moves on! toward
a point that is central to life itself!.
100 years ago.. the process the eagle supplied was clear as day to all who chose to see.... today it is a different story..
the profuse study of the occult, and media speculation about the occult.. technology, indifference etc.. has muddied the whole kaboodle!
the eagles claw has not been thoroughly accurate for quite a while now!( making it increasingly difficult to slip past)
if you consider a NOMAD or hermit.. who meets few people, has no technology and no family.. consider him sitting next to his death!.
and subsequently dying!
the claw strikes his mind instantaneously,,, his spirit is not ripped out by the eagle as such... but slips past in a ripping motion by virtue of the fact it
is alive, and heading for completion (in accordance with the laws of perpetual evolution of awareness)..
if anything it his body being ripped away by death, as his spirit stays centrally connected to life in the universe as it evolves!(EYE)
The ancient aztec priests were particularly good at releasing people past the eagle...
the entire culture knew this, and ritual sacrifice was understood as a means to acheive freedom by the person becoming subject to the hammer or blade!.
It wasnt that they could release people past the eagle that counted in their expertease... that was almost a foregone conclusion in the hands of the faceless
gods! It was what they could do with the mind portion of the remaining quotient!..
Not being VOODOO priests, not being shaman of black magic, and generally being utterly respectfull about the faceless nameless gods.. as well as life itself!
they didnt keep dead minds in coconuts, or attatch them to dried skins, or bones or shrunken heads(well sometimes)....
But they did pay a certain and MASSIVE amount of attention to THE PEELING form...
thhat is to say...
a man destined for freedom who is murdered by say an ****!
His spirit flies past the eagle.. and his mind becomes savaged by the lack of knowledge of the man or woman who killed him...
meaning a curse is released in the location of the deed... because of the improper and unnatural or respectful nature of the death!
(we have a lot of this type of energy all around us in todays world.. just dead minds that werent set into their PEELING FORM at their deaths!.
A man destined for freedom who is released from his body by an aztec priest with a knowledge on universal time structure is a different thing entirely.. His
spirit flies past the eagle... as in the first scenario... but his dead mind is not obliterated by the priest.. as the proest has no violent intent! and
secondly his dead mind doesnt just dissapate sporadicly!
the reason it doesnt just dissapate.. is that the priest takes the man he about to release to a world of such close life association that for all intents and
purposes.. the two are the same being, their awareness.. is flowing equally... this world and the other are breached to such a fine level... that the truth
about who is holding the axe and who is lying on the slab.. are remarkably fluffy around the edges! with the result that when the man who is destined for
freedom gets away!
the priest is occupying two minds...
one is alive... the other is being struck by the eagle repeatedly.. as it PEELS the dead mind away... in line withthe flow of power from the life paradox in
everyones absolute evolution ascension source!.
AS the dead mind peels from the form...it creates a pattern for the observers informative about the process of life! teaching as it curls!
The monkey then eats the BANANA... and leaves you with the skin! to bury as you see fit!.
the warrior has slipped past! and left some intelligence to guide us all!
and all because he was killed by an equal who knew about time..
in todays world a screaming car wreck, or a life support machine.. or whatever death you choose... if you wish to not only slip past but also leave a valuable
lesson for your observers in thsi life..
you need to not only be free with your spirit and life... but you also need to find a way to programme the peeling form into your remains...... to assist those
who follow!.
Just in case your paramedic, nurse, or ambulance driver.. isnt that well versed in stalking those at death and peeling their remains in the flow of the
eagle.... ... in (2009).. 2012 they will be... but we are currently awaiting the major force of evolving awareness to orient itself FROM life as it flows
along the path of those who have acheived freedom!
that is to say they will act as a right angle between the OTHER that is present.. and the OTHER that is situated at the futurely LIFE PARADOX... creating a
creative present that is orientated towards FREEDOM in every RESPECT!
