The Dark Side Of Sorcery.
#1
This thread concerns the dark side of sorcery. As we are shamanic warriors, we do have to address those in the world who use their knowledge for gaining power
over others as in "false naguals". The minds of those who allow it can be convinced with the right mixture of intent and small sorcery of anything.

Dark use includes: calling demonics, using allies to transfer and capture humanic power. Creating worlds for the use of physical threat and violence. Drawing
innocents into acting as their eyes and ears. Taking control of bodies and even using them to live past their own. Breath taking. Physical sexual abuse.
Creating feeding spikes for their now enlarged flyers. Yes, dark sorcery fuels the foreign installation. It is like "Flyers Gone Wild". Dark Ones
purposely feed their flyers by their own devious means. Most become slaves to sorcery and the flyers interpretation of it.

Incidentally, I read that one of the initiations of certain black lodges is actually surrendering your will to the will of the flyer. Sickening.

When one surrenders to the flyer that has the intent and thirst for perversion or worse they lose their humanity. This humanity is what makes us different from the other animals. The other animals are immune from the flyer though thus they are basic mammals. Any thoughts on why us humans are their only prey besides our coats?

Any thoughts on why us humans are their only prey besides our coats?I think it's just opportunism. Humans, evolutionary speaking, tend to have more energy and potential than they can handle, so flyers (among other beings) take advantage of our ignorance.
As soon as a race reaches a certain stage of evolution, abuse is no longer possible.

Something I've come across in my dreaming is Dreamwalkers (those who Enter into other peoples dreams) Who cloak themselves in a sort of darkness. These aren't Shadow beings. Shadow beings grab you in a dream and wrap around you like a dark blanket. More what i have seen is this blackness as a sort of energy. This energy may be many flyers. I have been a few times under the influence of what i call this "Dark Energy". It is like having flyers gone wild inside your head. My dreaming self was violent. My waking self was depressed, paranoid, and almost suicidal. It feeds you dark thoughts.

Hmmm.  I know this post is old so I'll be respectful to the message.  I seem to understand Wolf considers "false naguals" to be those who use their knowledge for gaining power over others.  The next paragraph says "false naguals" are those who call demons, capture humanic power, use torture, spies, possession, breath taking (this is an interesting one, actually, the drawing of the vital energy from another), feeding spikes, "Flyers Gone Wild".  To add my own to this list, I think any perversion of moral character could be considered dark.

There's some confusion here I think.  Naguals are not "false" merely because they use power for darkness.  I suppose we could attempt to denounce them, but calling a jaguar a monkey doesn't actually change what it is.  I suppose that's a clever way to show "with the right mixture of intent and small sorcery, a mind can be convinced of anything".  The more important aspect is why are those features mentioned considered false or dark?  Sometimes it's appropriate to become dark.  Sometimes it's not.  Context is essential.

Most do become slaves to sorcery.  It's well to intend to help and support others--but it's well to also remember that to protect anything worth protecting, darkness often must hold back the invading darkness.

Right?  This isn't a far-fetched concept, I think.  I mean, we've all watched Doctor Strange by now (Wolf, it's a movie which came out this year).  Not all who draw power from the darkness use it for darkness.  It is the very strange who draw power from one place to use it for the opposite.

I would like to take a moment to reflect on some very ancient sorcery knowledge that relates to vamprism. We all know that dark energy is what is needed for our sorcery acts but what is dark energy? It is the energy of death the energy of freedom. It is no mistake that death is the energy that frees motion and unlocked stagnant energies and makes them fluid. The empty canvas of a new world is made so by either death or from raw unformed potential. You can not plant a crop in a field that is full, no you must first harvest that crop and then have the free rich dark soil, ready for something new. Ancient sorcerers would drain life from even people and their own world in order to make the world in their images. Indeed one can live forever off the energy of death. It is no coincedence that stopping the world and suspending judgement suspends the active flow of our life and when that happens you are left free to align something new. "Death eaters" are aware of the glories and potential of death.

What do place in the empty free darkness? Exactly the life you cast the light you shine into that void of death. It is to be one with death and life.

How inspirational you are, Serloco! Yes! Your ideas are so crisp and balanced! Can't plant a crop in a full field. Free, rich, and dark soil is available once crops are harvested. Freedom to choose a new crop becomes available. Ancients drain all life, but do you think they choose how life is re-born? Death eaters bring death, they don't give life as that's not a realm they govern. Death eaters take life, but leave dark soil. The next crop is something the land owner decides to plant.

This is a gem! Thank you for teaching me a different way to see! Death has a place within the balance, how accurate you are.

Glad you enjoyed my post Pixie. Always a pleasure to aid others in their path. Choosing how life is reborn is the controled folly that we must embrace. Surely the fruits of death are glorious in itself but hand in hand death is in balance with life. The constant turning over of old crops into new crops is what sustains the balance that perpetuates infinity.. Often I like to sit where nothing is yet born and anything may be met. I would deny the new life and bask in the raw potential that awaits my decision.

serloco-  "..Often I like to sit where nothing is yet born and anything may be met. I would deny the new life and bask in the raw potential that awaits my decision."

serloco, the underlined speaks of something extraordinarily powerful.  In the last week I have made love to death and the unknown.  As soon as I tasted, I knew the unknown was for me.  In your post in stopping the world you spoke of ideas that relate.  The balance of half control and half unknown was something I intuited, but I beckon your shapening both that and the concept underlined.

Since I am recently entered the unknown quite easily, please give me your comprehensive repertoire.  Expand on everything you can.  Thank you

Thank you Amy for your compliments. I have many posts that deal with the unknown. It may be worth your while to check out my subforum in the new seers section. One of my favorite positions in dealing with the unknown is called "the drunken nagual." Here is a basic post I made for your benefit in my section. Here is the link.

You are evidently not a farmer.I thought it was common knowledge that a field left uncropped will naturally return all growth to the earth, keeping soil fertile
but that harvesting tends to take the nutrients from the soil as it is held within the crop.

interestingly there are four quarters of the sorcerers world

crop rotation.

noun1.the system of varying successive crops in a definite order on the sameground, especially to avoid
depleting the soil and to control weeds, diseases, and pests.
