In the short time I have been a part of this forum, I have seen a lot of passion and devotion. I often see the same party members post. There is much to debate and much to share. The ultimate goal of this forum is to assist the warrior to be steady on the path with a heart until freedom is achieved.
I almost became addicted...looking to see each day what had been written. When I volunteered to moderate a thread, I just knew I had something to say, just as I often feel inspired to post on other threads. The Power of Silence was bestowed upon me.
I have spent the past week in silence; I have been reminded of the Power of Silence. For all of the great strides I have made while reading the posts from all of you, they were all reinforced by my silence.
I hope that others will be inspired to post a thread here to discuss the Power of Silence and the great energy it unlocks. I know I will now re-read The Power of Silence for inspiration.
Thank you all for being here.

Something we all forget and have to keep reminding ourselves of, I think. We cannot hear when we are speaking.
That goes for inner speaking as well.
When we practice inner silence for a period it is amazing how much more aware we become. Don Juan said it was the most important teaching that he had to offer Carlos.
I believe that to be true.

Could not have said it better myself. Yes, we are warriors. We are living and we realize that part of our silence is that we are warriors. We know we cannot share easily to others our beliefs in this path.
Most do, would not, or even consider the main teachings of the warrior's way. We then find in sites such as this others who are "like" us.
How many can easily discuss these topics with their family members? Their parents? Their peers?
I have no such company. That is why I created this forum many years ago. To make a meeting place for Us. Thus we may speak from our silence.
Welcome Delaware Dan and good luck with your challenge here.

Not being able to share easily with others my beliefs in this path is what causes me tension. I want to be able to provide the path of freedom to my disillusioned father or my chronically ill mother.
How can you make someone take responsibility for their life? I become over zealous and want to help those close to me (or not close to me) understand the teachings of don Juan Matus.

We communicate and see if the transition can be made.

Hey guys! Sorry I have been away for so long. I'm finally getting back into the warriors way. my life just isn't as exciting eitherwise.
I have been trying and pondering to reach inner silence for quite some time. I find it rather difficult. Is there anyu daily excercise that could be perscribed?
Edit: I just had a chilling feeling that i was being watched as i typed this....

Silence is golden yes? The feeling your being watched comes from the nagual power and its touch. Such a touch is one that gives the warrior the possiblity of another chance to see.
The Flyer within also knows when its being looked for. It will go to great lengths to distract you from achieving silence. For silene is the silencing of its hold. Lone Wolf

Thank you Nagual Lone Wolf
Yet, there does not seem to be a specific technique. But any exercise can be used to reach the goal of silence, as long as silence is the goal.
You cannot be distracted by the Flyer but knowing its existence is the key to inner silence.
