Reality Orientation and Sorcery
#1
There is somebody called "Shor", who had said:

Quote:

Normal state of consciousness is characterized by immobilization of a structured frame of reference in the background of attention which supports, interprets
and gives meaning to all experience. This frame of reference remains a superstructure of consciousness only by means of active mental striving, which in fact
it is not usually conscious.

Astrologer Stephen Forrest says:

Quote:

All our views of reality are conditioned by an unspoken model of the world - and that model is always arbitrary and limiting. It is mistake to take a model
of reality for the reality itself.

Or to put it yet in another way:

We all have personal subconscious patterns of the psyche that are also part of a functional collective subconscious patterning or "programming" ....
and it seems, that during the first 3, 4 and 5 years of age, a child becomes "acquainted" to this collective unspoken model of reality .... which
then for the rest of ones life forms a kind of subconscious "core-belief-system" way of functioning .....

.....and unless we do become transparent to our own "unspoken programming of the psyche" i.e. become aware of our own subconscious ways we perceive
reality as reality ....we can not see or we can not even fathom that other "programs" exist, imagining our own particular "reality
orientation" to be T-h-e
"All-Encompassing-Reality".

****************

From personal history here .....

Not only did my grandparents look different, my gran (well both grans & great grandmothers) having more Asiatic traits & my half Finnish/half Swedish
grandfather being very tall Nordic, Germanic .... but also ......

Since we lived in the said grandparents house from when I was 1 to 5 years old, I became aware at a very early age , that there were 2 very different kinds of
"reality orientations" i.e. unspoken models of the world .... grandfather's western reality orientation & grandmother's eastern reality
orientation. Each of their structured frame of reference in the background of their attention (which supports interprets and gives meaning to all experience)
ran totally
on 2 different kinds of programs !!!!

This is something that I find in Australia as well. When I communicate with white Australians .... my awareness "shifts" into their "reality
orientation" ... or "collective dream" .... and when I communicate with Aboriginal people my awareness "shifts" into their
"silent program" & I start functioning according to their unspoken model of reality .... terms.

They are sooooooooo different.

****************

It seems to me, that when it comes to "Sorcery" practices .... it is best not to move sideways and appropriate an another culture's
"Dreaming" .... if you do not (within yourself) know the
underlying "Reality Orientation Program"
.......... from which these practices have sprung from.

Kindof why .... if & when I move more into this Aboriginal side .... I wish not to bind anybody
with me .... for caution ..... if that is not the other person's "unspoken model of reality" .... for such binding would only spell out trouble
for both.

"Since I am the Infinite Space, and the Infinite Stars thereof, do ye also

thus. Bind nothing !"

(Aleister Crowley)

But there can always be "exchange" happening at the boundary ...

Very interesting. I would say it's called mentality and yes each culture has it mentality. When you have engraved in you more then one mentality then it easy for you to see paterns of cultures. First 12 years of my life I have spent in Armenia and next 12 years in Czech republic so I can see and ompare cultures.
