Was Castaneda just having a dream?

Would you consider Castaneda's works a pathway to fantasy or reality? what if I'm living it twice, half seen?.. please leave your opinion or suggestions.

take the totality of yourself as a metaphorical rainbow fantasy

and kick it into gear

now you have a dream that is alive

to leave that in the hands of people who have not found that totality

will lead to dreaming about the possibility of that kind of dreaming
