Infinity is enticing beyond belief. A warrior-traveler finds that to return to the world of disorder, compulsion, noise, and pain is a most unappealing affair.
You must know that your decision to stay or to return is not a matter of a reasonable choice, but a matter of intending it.
      If you choose not to return, you will disappear as if the earth has swallowed you.
But if you choose to come back, you must tighten your belt and wait like a true warrior-traveler until you task,
whatever it might be, is finished, either in success or in defeat.
      Today you are going to fulfill a concrete task,
the last link of a long chain; and you must do it in your utmost mood of reason.
      The backbone of a warrior-traveler is humbleness and efficiency,
acting without expecting anything and withstanding anything that lies ahead of him.

Not for me. Infinity I found is limitless and unbounded, therefor anything may become. When iwas so far from the skies of my world I grew as the post suggested, excited and amazed at all I can do. Later on I missed the comforts of humanity, the world I had known for so long, as well as the unlimited potential that lies within humans as energy generating beings. I could see how to help the trapped and enslaved and made my way back home many times. Not only could I find my own way being with infinity that can do all things perfectly, but I could channel infinity into anyone I saw, allowing someone else to bring me to my homeland, very much like summoning a scout. I find that don Juan`s quote defines merely a position of awareness, his own awareness of infinity, his own experience only, and fails to see that Infinity is anything imaginable and beyond imagination. You can make any way, and imagine any position of awareness you want, and have infinity form you and the way exactly as you intend. THIS is using the perfection of infinity. I also have found that expectations are merely a form of cohesion and can be empowered to great lengths so that whatever you expect will unfold as you expect it. Once I got trapped in an iob world by purely manifesting my expectations, and could not escape from them until i found that I can expect the unexpected. The iobs were not trying to trap me but were merely forming to the awareness I had at the time and so when I shifted into the unexpected they jumped on board and went into that form. The commercials on the TV then boasted as I did `to expect the unexpected, This is because my awareness and attention form the the world around me into perception. The mastery of awareness is control your awareness and thus control your perception or alignment of reality. Being a master of awareness I think don Juan should have known that and stated this in his description of Infinity, instead of stating as the dogmatic do that this MUST be the way since I have seen it this way. Infinity is not about being trapped in someone elses way but experiencing the freedom of choice and awareness of any such way. Sure their can be commonalities like the feeling of awe and splendor but even still felling and emotion are an aspect of controlled folly, and can be aligned and intended into any way or reaction, a controlled reaction, and so you can feel exactly how you want to feel in any situation, it becomes a choice of awareness.

If you follow the path of heart, there is no controlled folly, no expectations, no answers, nothing to hold you back from what you truly are.

If you love the conclusions of reality, the truth and the answers to life, which is to see the actual essence of reality itself, then you are following a path of heart and a path of pure awareness. What are we under everything.. pure awareness.

Controlled folly lets me feel only the ways i want to feel, to care abuot what i want to care about, to master my own choice within infinity, it is based from the awareness of pure choice and control of awareness in any situation. And so how do see this as not following a path of heart, when the choice to follow a path of heart is your controlled folly....
