Don Juan told Carlos not to walk with anything in his handsand somehow there is a suggestion of a special finger positioning while walking
Today I finally found the one for me. 
Walked and held my fingers in a sort of mudra position.. and fragging held it no matter what
got to recall that Don Juan told Carlos to  focus his eyes a bit above the horizon. Did that and yes I could follow all that happened in my field of sight
Difficult to hold focus at times... being and man and quieting the inner judging storyteller machine 
The hand position helped in more than one way )))) 
keeping focus was the second 
the first relate to my personal intent with the finger positioning

walking a lot is important for a warrior, even no matter the hand position . But yea I also walk while doing the thing with my hands when I go longer distances, or when I can and remember to. it helps keeps silence.. that is very beneficial..
