Intent
#1
"The concealed advantage of luminous beings is that they have something which is never used: “intent.” The maneuver of shamans is the same as the maneuver of the average man. Both have a description of the world. The average man upholds it with his reason; the shaman upholds it with his “intent.” Both descriptions have their rules; but the advantage of the shaman is that “intent” is more engulfing than reason." ~DJ

I have Intent on my mind today.

A intent of a sorcerer can be like a spell cast with a glance to the left.

Intent is the active side of clarity, an unwavering vision held firmly in the mind, which serves as the sorcerer's direct interface between question and answer; the metamagickal probe or prod applied to the all-knowing All as a means of extracting the specific Knowledge required to achieve the manifestation of the intent itself; it is the quantum Questioning mother of the Will - not the Will, but without which the Will can never manifest because without Intent the Will has nothing to manifest, nothing to create, no seed to nurture; Intent is the goal/vision the sorcerer projects unceasingly onto the silent screen of eternity until eternity reflects the sorcerer's will by yielding up the information required to achieve the Intended evolution.
Intent does not compromise. It does not yield to reason or common sense. It can be summoned clearly, instantly and impeccably in all states of awareness by invocation of the word Intent.

The quantum concepts with which otherworlds are built can give you the keys to the third attention or just as quickly lock the door forever if you take it as commonplace or just another mystery with no solution, and this is another reason your Intent must be impeccably defined with the sharpest knife, a vision cut away from the Nothing which you turn to in times of doubt or confusion. Intent is the instrument you rub against the web of non-local information to create a sympathetic synapse between the brujo's question and the evolutionary answer, the intersection where vision becomes manifestation through manipulation of matter/energy using the invisible tool of Intent itself. It is, quite simply, the overlap point of vision and creation, brought into being by using the question to elicit an answer which is in accordance with the unbending vision.

Nice!
I think that intent depends, somehow, if it can be dependent, that is (I don't know!)...on imagination and faith.
Trusting intent is faith...being impeccable for the sake of intent is acting in faith.
Imagination is the seed of creation.
John Lennon and Albert Einstein think so, anyway, and I admire both greatly in regard to their thought processes and how they represented...
Some say I'm a dreamer...but I'm not the only one...

I find it interesting that so many people on a Toltec forum talk about "faith".  In reality, Intent is dependent on nothing but itself.  It's like an element that is what it is - not a combination of other things, but the thing itself, in its bare naked simplicity.  H2O is water, but hydrogen and oxygen are "the thing itself" and cannot be reduced further.
Intent is intent.  Faith is belief.  Unrelated elements... at least that's how I've come to see it.
The only reason it matters is that it's only when we truly understand the quantifiable energy of Intent that we are finally able to direct it.  Hope that makes sense.

There is nothing whatsoever mysterious about Intent and how to use it effectively
It should come as naturally as breathing in and out
((( HOWEVER!! )))
Humanity has brainwashed us into a state where we have forgotten our true natures
The goal of true people of knowledge should be to clean and clear their connecting link to Intent
Through proper, grateful and appreciative living
It's all the **** clogging the connection to our source that makes Intent seem so mysterious

Yes, it does make sense.
When I use the word "faith," though, I don't mean it in quite the same way. It is more about the reliability of intent. We can trust intent because it does not arise from agendas or delusions or the tonal.
I didn't think that "dependent" was quite the word I needed to use but I couldn't think of any other one at the time. I think that I should have said somehow that it is the sorcerer's side of intent, and not intent, itself, that depends upon those things.
If there is no imagination to drive intent...and no trust in it, either, then it is out of reach. It certainly still exists, since, as you say, it depends on nothing...it just is. But if there is no idea behind the intent, then there will be no manifestation.
If intent lies between question and answer, then I see the imagination as the question and the faith (trust) as the answer.
I think, for many people, that the idea of faith, as belief, that is, belief in something either being possible or impossible, is what limits their perception of the limitless...they do not perceive infinity because they can not drum up a belief that such a thing could be possible...so they put their trust in their belief rather than trusting in infinity's endless possibilities and absolute disregard for the concept of "impossible."
There is no intent available if one is already limited to thinking of existence as already completely defined and bound in their visible ordinary tonal world, confined by what they believe to be possible and maybe even permissible.
That's just my take on it, however, and is really of no consequence. Also, I'm new to all this as far as vocabulary, and meanings of words commonly used, is concerned. But even regardless of knowing the lexicon or not, it is perpetually difficult to express the experiential through verbal means...as I'm certain you are already well aware.

I have a saying:
“Faith is the five-letter word that should be a four letter word”
Faith is what keeps idiots in dumbass ignorance; blowing themselves up to please their god
If God really loves you then He should have no problem proving it to you personally!
If God doesn't prove it to your personally then God obviously doesn't love you, period
God can indeed prove His love by blessing your life. Yes indeed!
However, God will not bless a life of self-disrespect. No sir!
The ungrateful unappreciative who disrespect themselves will get no wonderful blessings from God in their miserable lives
I've had five near-death experiences and I know from direct experience that God is infinitely more than any and all religions and books combined
God is the very power that gives atoms the energy to exist
So there is no faith involved for me except for the faith to believe in myself and my infinite potential
My personal faith leads to actions that justify my faith
If you cannot justify your faith then you are nothing more than another brainwashed **** who believes in things he can never empirically verify

Good point.  That's one reason I *see* intent as a quantifiable force unto itself.

One huge lesson I've learned from my double (and continue to learn on an ongoing basis) is simply this:  "Allow the impossible."  As long as we are stuck in beliefs and blind faith that those beliefs are accurate, we do indeed limit our experience because at the level of pure perception, we can only perceive what we can ACCEPT, or more accurately, what we think we can "understand".  When we get into the realm of "the impossible", it's a matter of having to train our brain/mind to literally "allow the impossible"... to expand our awareness to include things we previously might have simply been refusing to perceive.

Also, I'm new to all this as far as vocabulary, and meanings of words commonly used, is concerned. But even regardless of knowing the lexicon or not, it is perpetually difficult to express the experiential through verbal means...as I'm certain you are already well aware.
Words & syntax are a pain in the arse.  LOL.  That's why I tend to advocate in-person meetings whenever possible.  I used to offer free workshops & such at our store, and it was amazing to see how quickly people can begin to see "eye to eye" in person, as compared to how difficult it can be on a forum, where so many nuances are "lost".
Nice to make your acquaintance.

Ditto, Alien!
I like this: "Allow the impossible."
Yes!
That's where the beauty begins, at least it did for me. It gets easier because I've witnessed the so-called impossible and now I know there is no such thing as impossibility.
