Witch Hunt
#1
Way back in the day, when Alt.Dreams.Castaneda was the only Nagualism forum available on the whole internet, not just the forum on AOL, people showed up who
rejected Sorcery but still had an "interest" in Castaneda. Of course, over the years, their posts turned from observations to condemnations. It was
really a "self-fulfilling prophecy" as they say. Paganism has had to endure that sort of backstabbing for ages, they are pretty much the favorite
pincushion of cowards around the world. Flash forward to the present and we have a whole new batch of people that have found their way to Castaneda,
pitchforks and torches in hand. They start off as social rejects, sniffing around the fringes of society for an open door. Then they find Castaneda, cowering
under the table, waiting for somebody to pat them on the head and tell them they are special. Eventually, they learn what Nagualism is really about, that it
has no place for cowards, and they go running back to mommy screaming, "it's witchcraft, it's a cult, Castaneda was a whore, all the books were
lies!" My advice to anybody new to Castaneda is to read "The Art of Dreaming" first. If that book scares you then don't bother to read any
of the other books, and please don't bother me either.

Lol. I think that the important thing is to keep forging ahead, reclaiming the simple spiritual truths that humans understood before religion
was invented.

Most of us would have been burned ...

... if for no other reason, than asking honest questions and seeking the truth.

We are onto something here. I can only agree. Would that I had understood the works of sorcery sooner and saved myself a lot of misery.

Juan Matus said that the whole reason is SURVIVAL! The sorcer is always in the background , other faces are presented to the public. Aha!

I think of those suicides I hear about. Damn it ! Let us dance in the face of death and give him a good battle if he tries to take us.

There exists a very large inorganic organism that resembles an upside-down jellyfish. It is white colored, about half the size of a football field. It is
basically a mass of long, thin tentacles, each with a cone shaped barb at its end. The creature sends out its tentacles like feelers, stretching out great
distances sometimes, in order to locate prey. Its prey are the energy bodies of human beings. Once it locates a suitable victim, it pierces their energy body,
usually the dreaming body, with its barbed tentacle. This keeps the person from escaping. Then it starts siphoning off the energy from that person until they
are dead. The point at which the creature stabs into people is at the back, exactly in the middle of the body. The person will usually experience painful
nightmares during the time in which the initial attack took place. After a few weeks, its as if they become numb to the barb and can live for many years with
no real knowledge of what is going on. About the only indicator of what has happened to them is recurring dreams of being in a nest of tentacles. The ancient
Toltec sorcerers, known as Death Defiers, found a cure for this condition, by moving their assemblage points. By causing the dreaming body to become something
else, something other than what the creature feeds on, it is released from the snare. The ancient Death Defiers have, of course, all lost their physical form a
long time ago. They now reside in the world of he inorganic beings. If you should ever find yourself in the above described predicament, the best thing to do
is go visit the Death Defiers personally, as they don't make house calls.

Dreamways interesting post. The jellyfish predators I have seen before in dreaming. Luck was with me as I did not get speared. How would you suggest warriors
find the death defiers in their realm?

I would suggest intending to find the purest form of sorcery, the ultimate and best expression of the nagual, in dreaming. Let the "wind" take you
there. You don't have to define who you want to meet or where you want to go, that way you will know the unbiased truth about sorcery when you arrive.

dreamways.. I was of the impression that the inorganics you mention that are not deathdefiers,, are actually less able practitioners of sorcery who on their
death have discovered their energybody lacking in any real power source of its own are forced to become vampiric as their awareness seeks to continue!

Im hoping that what a death defier does.. is not just shapeshift in a way the vampiric remnant cant comprehend ,, but equally with the flick of his tail
adjusts that creatures shape,by Blocking all its holes.. and cutting it adrift... casting it into an abyss for an indefinate amount of time....once released
the creature is either alive under its own force and hence no-longer vampiric.... or it is a collection of bits that other beings might find useful! to block
THEIR holes with!

hence the deathdefier moves freely in the inorganic realm... while the others just lol about until something with energy arrives.. and then they become
ACTIVE!..... presumablythe death defier watches the hapless arrivals being gnawed on by inorganic entities.. seeing which energy points it goes for, and all
the time watching for the flaw in the entities own awareness... so when he does wade in to sort things out he can seperate the two cleanly...and A) make a
clean link that cant be used agin within time, between the worlds...

B)see if the entity is able to progress past the point in question if it cant it is bits!..

Ya, that makes sense, death defiers probably learned their tricks by observing inorganic beings of different sorts.

Well, I left out alot of information on that original post. basically, the jellyfish type creature that can snag people for its own purposes is the
"king" of the hive of death defiers. As far as I know, it used to be a human being. It actively hunts other beings that are vulnerable to it.
Having a "hard" energy body, brought about by "simply" being self-disciplined is all it takes to become invulnerable to it. You don't
have to worry about dreaming your way into its clutches, as it is inside the inorganic realm, within its own hidden area. If you can see it, that means it
came after you. The other type of predator is completely mindless, a zombie like fragment of the energy body of a being that has died. You could say it is
like a ghost with teeth. Unlike the jelly fish type of predator, this type will kill you on the spot and take your energy if it can. This zombie crab like
creature is found on the far edges of dreaming, away from anything useful for life of any kind. It is encountered by people who try to find the limits of
dreaming, sort of like the edge of the universe.
