Amy Wallace`s Sorcerers Apprentice
#1
I`ve just read the book. I was surprised. But it made sense.

I recommend the book for Castaneda enthusiasts. It will shake your vision of Castaneda.

She had it ruff with CC. And Others Too. But it`s a good books.

Some of you have read it, what did you think of it?

I`m sorry Crow, but my internet explorer crashes all the time, so I can write short messages only.

Basically, the book is about Amy Wallace, who was a member of CC`s party. She writes about beeing is lover and apprentice.

Her experience was very negative, she describes CC in a negative light. Describing basically what is a cult arround Castaneda.

She writes about her experience with the 3 witches; Florinda Donner, Taisha Abelar an Carol Tiggs

Well, they say that the ego has defense mechanisms.I have not read the book but I think that she might be "projecting".

MY RESPONSE:

After reading all of Castaneda's books over and over I would surely expect that if he ever became a guru the experiences of all those on the
"inside" of the group would be very negative. In his books Castaneda made it very clear that he was a (((FAILURE))) as a leader. So, if there
actually was a 'don Juan' then, in his every day life, Castaneda would be a failure as a leader just as he was in his books.

I say Amy Wallace's negative experiences with Castaneda give evidence that there actually was a don Juan and, although Castaneda did his best to hide it in
public, in private Castaneda was indeed the person he portrayed himself to be in his books.

Corey Donovan and the other idiots who took Castaneda as their guru seem to think that if there actually was a don Juan then Carlos should have been a great
and wonderful leader -- true don Juan. How ridiculous! There was no indicaton in all of his books that Carlos Castaneda would make a great 'don Juan'
of a leader of a party of sorcerers. As a matter of fact if his books were true then we should have expected that Castaneda would have been a dangerously
self-indulgent leader who would eventually destroy himself as the result of his dangerous indulgences.

What a coincidence that is exactly what happened.

I've written this over and over in many ways, but I feel the need to write it again. Maybe this time you will finally 'see'
it:

In the early days when Castaneda's works became popular he was a very public figure. One of the main reasons his books were accepted
as non-fiction was because of the fact that Castaneda (((OBVIOUSLY))) portrayed himself as he actually was. If Carlos portrayed himself in a way that was not
consistent with the way people knew him to actually be then everyone who knew him would have been calling Castaneda a fraud from the very beginning. The fact
that they did not do so makes it clear that Carlos Castaneda was giving a painfully accurate portrayal of himself in his books.

DO YOU UNDERSTAND WHAT I AM SAYING HERE?

Carlos Castaneda was giving an honest portrayal of himself in his books and how he would react to such teachings imparted to him by
(((ANYONE)))

If Carlos was spouting out don Juan philosophy before he actually purportedly met the sorcerer, don Juan, those who knew him would have
been screaming (((FRAUD))) from the very beginning! The fact that the did not do so was very powerful evidence that there actually was a don Juan who imparted
the inner workings of ancient shamanistic sorcery in the modern world.

Does this mean that everything Castaneda wrote was absolutely true? Don't be ridiculous! Is everything you see on the television
news true? Is everything written in all the purported "holy books" true? I wouldn't bet on it if I were you.

So, the question for the wise is: What is useful to you as an individual? If something is useful then by cracky use it, fer Christ's
sake. If not then don't use it. The fools who reject useful knowledge because they don't like the proverbial packaging it is in are very numb dumb cult
brainwashed. Christians who reject true and useful knowledge purportedly imparted by the Buddha are fools indeed for there are many useful lessons in the
teachings of the Buddha. The wise will use all that is good and wholesome to improve the quality of their lives.

Oh well….

We're all proverbial 'Bozos' on this bus of life so we might as well laugh for there is no indication, I have seen, that
life is supposed to be taken seriously. If there is a God He has one heck of a painfully brutal sense of humor, let me tell you!

If don Juan would have written a book about his apprenticeship , the picture

about him would not be better. just remember some stories Juan told Carlos.

And he feared his teacher Julian, if I remember correctly.

Anyone here seriously believes that CC's agenda was to be admired, lead and have sex with a bunch of idiots ? He crushed their egos, I'm not sure
why. Maybe he did it just for a fun.

MY RESPONSE:

You're talking out your dumbass. You don't know whether or not the "picture" would be better, twit.

CC made himself a sorcerer ****, but you want to make him even dumber. Oh well....

Well , damnitalltohell , SID. I do think I have been saying , generally , the same thing you are saying. I guess I have a different approach. Mainly , I
have found resonanace in other texts with what CC wrote , or even within my own experience. Surely , no one should put total faith in a book (think Bible) or
anything or anyone. That's one of the points of the Warriors Way , isn't it? Seems like one of the things we can learn here is to discern fact from
fiction , which is a life / survival ability. Perhaps someone will walk in Carlos' shoes in a dream and then we will all know what really was. Or, maybe
it doesn't really matter a rats ass! Carlos is gone , the Earth itself could disappear , but Power is infinite , and everything is there to be sought
and seen by those who seek it.

Keep it up , Bro. Rattle that cage!! Aieee!!

The wise read the Bhagavad-Gita and cherish the good and wholesome things they may learn while keeping the rest in question. The fools
read the Bhagavad-Gita determined that the most important thing is debating whether or not Krishna actually existed. This is the way it has been among the bulk
of the Castaneda skeptics I have encountered on the Internet. They are determined that don Juan never existed and that Castaneda was a fraud. Well, Castaneda
was a genuine New York Times bestselling author. He was no fraud! Let's clear that up once and for all.
