....to have real knowledge, and the power with which to utilize that knowledge, a person must be whole. He must know every part of himself intimately. He must bring every potential, for good or bad, into the light of his full awareness, no matter how frightening or unpleasant these dark areas of himself may appear to be. It is for this reason that every apprentice to the Warrior's Path is taught the technique known as recapitulation.
From the very first day of his training every apprentice is expected to begin recapitulating his entire life in minute detail, from the present moment right back to the moment of birth. This is obviously not an easy task, nor is it quickly accomplished. Only through the recapitulation of his entire life can the apprentice truly understand his total being......
TRUE KNOWLEDGE IS TO EXPERIENCE THE INNER SELF; BUT SINCE THE INNER BEING IS UNIQUE TO EVERY INDIVIDUAL,
KNOWLEDGE CANNOT BE ASSIMILATED BY TALKING ABOUT IT.
