over the last year, i have been steered towards looking at the history of Nagualism. Why? Because i have an urge to verify a knowing about how Nagualism is changing and why the lineage of CC ended.
This I have called previously, 'The Point of Origin'. the way it was shown to me was in the analouge of a tree. Up to the point of CC being a student of DJ, there were lineages, each one being like the branch of a tree, the twigs and leaves being individual practitioners.facilitators of each branch.
what was shown to me, is that we are gaining knowing/remembering back to not only the branches, but to the trunk, (this could be perceived as being the change between the old sorcerers and the new seers). the trunk grows from the ground, this springing from the earth, could be seen as the emerging of cultural consciousness. the roots being ancestors of the ancient past.
However, the seed kernel, that held the blueprint for the whole tree, is the spark of the essence of the whole.
so on my quest for some kind of understanding of how Nagualism is changing, or returning to this point of origin, i first read all of CC's books. never having read them before.
then i found Daniel Brinton's work.. "Nagualism in Africa"..i explored african cultures at this point for corelations with the nagual path.
Then i read Martin Prechtels book "Secrets of the Talking Jaguar" where amongst other things he introduced the 'nawales' as being the ancient ancestors.
This triggered my exploration of the linguistics of 'Na' from as many cultures as possible.
i also read "Burning Water- Thought and Religion in Ancient Mexico" by Laurette Sejourne and started to look for the origins of the Toltecs beyond the Yaqui.
i learned that the toltec race is not the same as the Toltecs of 'the arts'.
i looked at the maya, the zapotecs and the mixitecs etc, but could not find the ancestors of the olmecs. i could draw assumptions but not an evidence based link.
then i found the books "The Naga Race" and "The Quests of the Dragon and Bird Clan" both by Paul Kekai Manansala. His research made direct links to the burning water book, especially the translation of physical events....changes to the planet..and how those memories became oral history spreading widespread analouge between these events and the seperation of man to his environment...this could have sparked the commonality of ancestral/creation stories. The origin of cultural consciousness?
I thought my journey could not be taken further back in time and i was satisfied for a while...
However, this summer another door opened for me, with the books on the Toltec way, by Theun Mares.
i was astounded by his introduction of his first book "Return of the Warriors" in which he describes exactly visions i have had for years but did not connect to Nagualism, in any way. Mythology or not, his writing on the origins of Nagualism matches previous visions, seeing and inner knowing.
What i gather at this time is that sitting with the perception of this 'point of origin', not only gives you access to the knowing of the whole tree- access to the collective. but it also gives you a point where, if accessed by an individual, it can result in group consciousness in unconcern, rather than through an agreed additional or 'separate' intention.
So, this is a point, where 'co-unity' on all levels is possible, in unconcern.
Nagualism then is the platform to where cultural consciousness can become unified. this also for me highlights its significance in the mass consciousness of humanity and its place in the earth's library into context.
As the aim of 'total freedom' is the goal of Nagualism, these other levels of conceptual awareness, are necessary to acknowledge, at least as a possibility, in order to work through any contractual layers of ancestral programming (whether DNA, perceived Karma, Service and Purpose contracts etc etc) so they can be known and therefore rendered as inactive, or unimportant.
However, since remembering this information in context, the experience of an 'AP' at this position, has been triggered by others on the tonal, also capable of shifting into it.
This has led, to instant 2nd and 3rd attention links between members of this group being activated. an active group consciousness in the Tonal.
