I'm not sure if this'll help, but feeling empathy with what the other person feels can help.
Or try and feel the feeling that the other person is saying or typing. For me, I wait in silence for a second or so until some sort of chill comes up from my spines when listening to certain songs like this one.

A few excercises: Turning off the internal dialog.
Look at things differently. From different perspectives than usual.
Get up before sunrise and take some time listening to the world around you. Birds, traffic, yourself breathing, ...it doesn't matter. Just Be Still in your mind and Observe. Don't get involved and don't put preconcieved notions on anything. Don't say in your head "that's a Red Wing Blackbird" or that's a Harley.
Disconnect and just absorb the sounds and sights that you are surrounded by. Feel it, hear it, taste and smell it, but don't talk about it in your head.
When you talk about somthing in your mind, you reinforce your description of the world. An erronious description in that it is only Partial.
When you stop the incessant talking, you open up to the truth that there is more to the world than you're used to being aware of.

Bob I got a question.
How is it that some writers have a depth to their expressions or meanings through words? Like in a poem or something, if it's not conceived into words?

instead of swatting away insects, i let them participate in my healing. sometimes they guide me which way to turn if i'm driving or walking. sometimes they vaccinate me with a specially designed serum, delivered to the perfect acu-point. insects are very intelligent and helpful, in my experience.
dancing revitalizes (rejuvenating all the senses) the body, especially if the dancing takes on the principles of magical passes. balance, and using the muscles so as to massage the inner parts (organs and systems) of the body/mind. hard to explain. dance moderately

Let everything you do become a dance, then.

sensitivity is not about personal feelings, that kind of sensitivity is ego-based and one of the 4 Toltec Agreements is to not take things personally
sensitivity is more about sensory awareness

Yea and extra-sensory awareness.
Just a few days ago I had a thought about this (in the morning before the coffee had it's way with me).
Jesus said to be wise as serpents and harmless as doves.
A snake is silent, and camouflaged. It does not draw attention to itself. It "flies below th radar".
It also has a sense that other predators do not have. I think it is according to scientists Heat Sensory. It enables them to sense other animals from a distance.
It is like they are reaching out further than other animals. I think we can train ourselves to do the same things.Bright Flame

I would add that the snake senses that it is the predator and the prey.
The stalker will find this also if they are worth their salt.
