The Spring Keeper

In early times, villages in mountainous regions were assisted by one known as the Spring Keeper. The Spring Keeper had the task of traversing the mountains and tending to spring heads of the natural watershed from the slopes. The Spring Keeper moved in relative privacy, under rain, sun, and snow, tending the springs. Attention to the small details of removing debris, sticks, leaves, and various items that would upon occasion block the flow of the spring heads in the high mountain places was the sole task of the Spring Keeper. This singular act ensured the continuous flow of seemingly insignificant trickles of water, which eventually emerged into small streams, and began the task of growth, as the waters collected and flowed down the mountainside. The result was clean, pure water in the lower elevations, which blessed many others along the return pathways to the great oceans of the earth. This is the very process that we use in the work of recapitulation. We must clear the debris from our personal history, as we seek the springheads of power flowing subtly beneath the mountains of our human thought patterns. The springheads of Intent must be properly tended. On occasion there will appear one in our lives to teach us the proper technique for tending the springheads. They stay with us awhile and then move onward to some unseen horizon. The task of maintaining the springheads of Intent, the springheads of Personal Power, and the springheads of Blessing, is then squarely placed upon the shoulders of the individual. This is the proper way.
The process of Spring Keeping is a delicate art requiring an appreciation for the subtle aspects of each spring. Harmony and balance are the key factors in assuring that the springs are open and flowing, yet not upset in such ways to cause undue erosion of the streambeds. Care must be taken the process of Spring Keeping and care must also be taken in maintaining harmony and balance within the Spring Keeper.
Learning to traverse the Rocky slopes and rugged mountain terrain requires proper training and proper breathing techniques to avoid fatigue and manage our personal energies and our power. With practice our endurance, our energy field, and our Intent magnifies, and we come to grasp the relationship of Power and Intent . The assimilation of personal power and the proper management of this energy is a matter of inherent awareness, a matter of Personal Intent. I am speaking of balancing the energy field within the cocoon; balancing between the positive and negative, the feminine and masculine potentials of the human sphere. When balance is achieved, perception is altered, and our fluidity opens another vista of experience. We are moving in the power of our natural energy field and in the center of our sacred space. This is akin to emptiness. This emptiness is experienced as consciousness is released from the human form. The subtle movements within the human sphere are very powerful! As we learn to balance our energies,... this difference between the positive and negative aspects of the human energy bubble..., we achieve a net energy differential of zero. This is the process of emptiness. Our awareness shifts and we gain a sensation of weightlessness within the bubble of our consciousness.

The art of emptiness, zero, and the Eye of the Dragon

When the positive and negative forces of our energies are in balance, they canceled each other out and this means a net worth of zero. This means we cannot be upset when someone criticizes us, nor can we be pleased when someone praises us.
Chinese sages used to say that in order to know your worth, you have to slip through the Eye of the Dragon.... They were confident that by merging with the Dragon's Intent, one could become invisible and go through the Dragon's Eye..
This means that when we become empty of thought and desire, for which those ancient seers meant to become one with the Dragon's Intent, we become invisible.
The art of emptiness was the technique practiced by Chinese men of wisdom when they wanted to go through the Dragon's Eye. This is the realm of freedom, and abstract humanness doesn't count. The vastness of this realm is such that whatever is human is so unimportant that it is lost in the vastness.

This about the eye of the dragon is very interesting.
And comparing it with the inner balance.
I always thought that the balance is necessary for a living beings, if their intent is to reach freedom, total freedom, with losing any dependence.
Can you maybe give some link, or write down more about that old Chinese technique? It has some ideals I agree with.
I also wonder, what do you here think about the dragons in generally?
What are they? Are they just imagination, representation of the meteors hitting the Earth in the early middle age (as Discovery channel says), or they could be some other attention beings?

The "Eye of the Dragon", as used here by Taisha, is kind of like the phrase "narrow is the way". One must achieve single mindedness and extreme focus. I am not familiar with the technique she discribes, but the book is available and does discuss it somewhat.
Regarding Dragons, they represent many different things in different cultures. There is one Toltec Lineage that uses "Dragon" in place of the "Eagle". Some Central and South American Shamans see the Dragon as the animal of the North. Quetzalcoatl spoke of the Dragon as the representative of Fire. Celtic Shamans see the Dragon as a courrier of wisdom and knowledge. Eastern Shamans view the Dragon as the source of their lineages. A few Native American teachers equate the Flying Dragon with the Thunderbird. It is an archtype that permeates every culture.
My personal relationship is similar to the Central American Shamans, in that I link the Dragon with the power of the North.
Balance is everything.

Very interesting this post. Esp. Warmed to this idea of passing through the "eye of the dragon"..
Over at Sea Life, I remember one of our dream team members, Morpheus, had some amazing dreams involving the dragons. They took him to their homeworld, a place they called "moondragoria".
I am going to post some of them here. They still enchant me.
DREAM 1: THE WAY OF THE DRAGON
I am on an Island, alone, but not afraid. The air is dark, the sky riddled with electrical storms. I hear the beat of wings, growing ever louder and louder. Looking about me I see no one, and no thing. Suddenly a voice says, "See; but not with your eyes, see with your ears and mind". I concentrate and the Island is transformed into a new place, a training hall of some kind.
A voice behind me says, "Welcome". I look behind me and there stands the Dragon, "I will teach you the ways of my people". Before, I can speak Im bathed in Dragon breath fire. It doesnt hurt me. Im not burned. Instead all of my chakra points light up with incredible brilliance. My body becomes transformed too. More muscular, stronger. Im a warrior.
We begin to fight with swords and with inner powers. Im exploding with power from within. "This is the way of the Dragon" and soon it will be your way too. Suddenly we stop fighting and he turns away from me, mumbling something to himself. 5 other warriors appear seemingly from nowhere. The Dragon shouts to the sky, "these five warriors are worthy of our ways lets us reveal to them the secrets of the ages". The sky is filled with Dragons. Im too amazed. I awaken.
DREAM 2: THE POWER OF THE SHAPESHIFTERS
We sit atop an emerald green rock, the wind blowing softly. I can hear the wind saying something, but Im not sure what exactly. The atmosphere has a "Lord of the Rings" type of feeling.
A loud voice says "within the seeds of all of us lay the seeds of all of us. In this instance a glass of liquid appears before me and the liquid begins spinning very quickly. Suddenly it stops spinning. As soon as it does, I see it is a DNA double helix. As I do the 5 appear and I see a female among them as before. We all drink of the DNA liquid. The voice says, "It is done".
I look at the 5 and they are all ME!! Then WE are all the WOMAN!! Then we are changing into each other, experiencing experiences of each other, and becoming each other. The voice says "and now you know from the same seed you were made, created and maintained, what separates you is the illusion that you are separate, your body in the world is too an illusion of solidity or separateness. Soon you will know the power of the shape-shifters for the 5 and the explorer (explora??) are worthy"....
DREAM 3: I AM LIGHT
I am in the Land of the Dragons; I can see the landscape before me. It is lush green and very beautiful, the wind is blowing softly as if speaking to me, "come, come, we are waiting"
Suddenly now I am on water, standing on water, I look down at my feet and I see the ocean filled with life, creatures never before seen in my physical world. A sea Dragon comes to me and through telepathy it says, "welcome one who has chosen the name, we have been waiting for you" the creatures are light up with an incredible brilliance. I find my self dissolving into the light merging with it, becoming one with it.
I am transported to another place now, underwater. The five are here with me we are all being taught to change our shape at will; a bird, a stone, water, fire, a tree and I become light. My consciousness expands exponentially. I am at once everywhere flowing with each moment.
I slowly become more focused in my light form, as a laser beam is. "I am Light", this chant resounds in my mind "I am Light, I am Light". I am guided down the earth now as if to join my "friends" we, in each of our forms "stand" atop a large cliff. There are lights all around us and in the sky there are circling 3 large dragon-like creatures. "It is time", I hear these words in my head and yet also in the space around me. I think we all do, because we all hold "hands", when the last link is made. The 3 Dragons stop circling above and descend upon us, breathing hot flames. At first I am afraid, but I soon realise that the fire is not harming any of us.
I being to hear thoughts that are not my own. The dragon's fire is causing us to merge into one being (it is hard to explain how this creature looks, made of fire, light and water and clothed in earth). We speak to the dragon. Its as though a huge chorus is speaking, not one voice or five voices but hundreds, perhaps thousands.
With a "smile" and a look that says, "I am pleased" the dragon says "it is done, you are now one".

I have to post this dream, I don't know why I hesitate to post it, I guess it made me scared a bit. For days I didn't want to think about that dream. It has some message in it.
About month ago, I fell consciously asleep. I raised and floated above my bed, but it wasn't my bed any more. It was dragon. It was huge, so huge that I only saw his head and his eyes. His eyes were terrible. They were glowing yellow greenish light. Our eyes met. He was looking but didn't attack me. I was lucid. Our sights merged, I was pulled.
Further I don't remember.
I don't know what to think about that dream.

The Oriental Goddess, Quan Yin, rides a dragon. In a recent dream I saw the dragon emerge from a pool of water. I ran from it, but Quan Yin came and held my hand to give me courage to face it.
I believe the dragon represents the power and ferocity aspects of existence and Quan Yin represents the loving compassion. Together, they are the Yin/Yang, Male/Female dynamics of being. Next time you see the dragon, call for the Goddess.

I don't know, I have never before this dreamed dragon, but I often dream desert lizard, and I feel a connection between lizard and the dragon, if that makes sense.

This indeed seems to be true .... when we work with recapitulation ....

When it rises it meets the male component or white bodhi called HUNG. HUNG is the water element and is connected with the male semen. The HUNG and AH are called wisdom drops. When it comes to unifying our animal and spirit sides ....
In the Finno-Ugric/Siberian Shamanic practices .... we "raise our nature" .... i.e. we align ourselves with our Totemic Ancestor Animal, raising the energy of it, and in similar fashion to the Tantric Practice we then draw the Spiritual Essence into union with it .... within the said central channel. Within the emptiness and purity of the central channel.
This union causes inner or mystic heat ...... and we start to feel like a "living flame" .... which in turn shifts our AP dramatically, to that of a "witness", yet ones body being a vehicle of union to this "witnessing". Witness being "The Zero".
After some time (perhaps) .... when our cocoons light up like this ..... a window of opportunity arises .... and The Eye appears ..... and we start to feel the pull of "The Eye of The Dragon" beckoning us to enter and go through it ....... "dissolving into the blue sky" ......
This is just my account of the Dragon experience .... to add to this thread.

When I've read the dragon dreams from explora post. I was very excited and I wish I could have such experience (Altrough from mystical creatures I always choosed a unicorn ) but whne I have read Castor's dream I dont know why I started to cry. I dunno may be because of a music....

Thank you Art and Poutnik for bringing this theme to attention.. i might have never read it itherwise..
For the first time ever, this year a Dragon visited me in my dreams.
It was a huge flying Dragon.
In the dream we had to go somewhere, everyone were ready to ride their flying vehicles. Abd then a dragon came down from the skies to me, to ride with him. I remember asking my boyfriend if he would ride with me but he prefered a flying jet-ski (! lol).
I remember that ride so well. He flew up and high and low and we talked and laughed on the way, like old friends. I remember the texture of his hard skin, like a snake feel but not cold. He flew me to the place i had to go.
A whole dream took place there. tThen i went out.
I standed out looking at the skies.. the dragon's name started forming in my mind, letter by letter.. a long name, with ai and ss s inside. When i got it i called out and he came, he felt as if saying "well done".
We rode up really high.. some creatures were riding beside us, i perceived them as what people call "the flyers". No fear or judgement, i was just flying with them.
I got aware that i wasn't in awake life. Everything around disappeared. The dragon disolved under me.
Below me everything had changed into a landscape made of little grains, little.. how can i say that.. spheres, grey and red and black. They formed hills and curves and black holes between them-made of black grain-or little balls.
That was all the dreams.. all the images.. all the possble places i could go.
Being at Ravennas practice at the moment i wanted to search for Masyanya-why? i can't reall answer that.
So, i plonged down into one of the black holes, i traveled in the darkness intending to find her, i saw a red colour suddently , i entered it and found my self lying on my belly on concrete.
A woman was there, she startled me cause i didn't expect to find anyone.

I am quite amazed of being in here too.
Poutnik, Saranicka (me,I and myself) is not amazing, she is just so enthousiastic to be here and trying to show as much for herself as possible by filling up all the subjects in this forum) All that i write have happened in a long long time of practice, some recent some old.
Because someone has had some dreams doesn't mean anything.
And i am not saying this out of shyness or out of desire to look humble. I truly beleive it. I live it.
Anyone can dream, amyone can have a lucid dream, and it isn;t dificult for two people to meet in dreaming if they intend it long enough.
All this means nothing.

I agree. Dreaming is a part of human nature, we are much more than this body and each man can evolve if he/her truly tries to.
There is no one special, we are all the same; people with same abilities to bring this life to the higher level of existence.
When we get there, ego goes away, all shallow emotions we have goes away, personal history fades..., there is just awareness.
That is the goal of my life, to expand awareness, to get balanced, to get more aware, not just in dreaming, but in everyday life too. Everyday life is not to underestimate, tonal is the part of our life's too and we can't enter nagual part if tonal is unbalanced.
I'm glad you, Artnwere and Poutnik are here with us, and our goal, as a group is to expand awareness and to try to meet in dreaming as a group, and help eachother with advices and experience sharing.

A little over 2 years ago, I was a lonely dreamer. I asked my spirit helper to assist me in finding some like-minded souls. That day I did a search regarding dreaming (something I had done numerous times before). But this time was different: I found Sorex (a previous name of Separate Reality). I read Nagual Lone Wolf's words online and was immediately drawn by his way of communicating - so clear, to the point, and unpretentious. It seemed to me that we thought very much alike. That same night we met in dreaming.
So, we were all meant to be here. Power has brought us together. We share experiences that only few even believe are possible.

Moon and Sun......
Sun source of life energy. sun can quite recharge me or relax. Sun has a wild rough burning energy.
Moon calming soft astral energy. Moon always caling me to spirit rituals, chants or thoughts but above all calling me to hunt in forests.
Sun and Moon... physical energy and spirit energy.....
Mountains, forests, water, earth, nature are other sources of energy. My domain are forests and one other source which is my friend but I mentioned about him to my friend and since that my pact with him is broken
Every time I am in nature I feel urge to meditate, concentrate and be harmonized with surounding nature.
Hell I dont know why I wrote this.....may be because I feel that I havent't posted anything meningful lately.
