So a little after after reading my first castanenda book I had a dream of Don Juan. Wasnt contemplating him or the work too much as I read on many schools of thought.
But anyways yea I dreamed of him and he gave me a beet to eat although strangely enough it tasted like a radish.
First time tasting in a dream btw too!

Nice

. I do find that reading the books opens a channel between the sorcerers and us. It is not uncommon for that to come through in our dreaming.
I find that it is pretty cool and helpful to spur our curiosity and learning.
Keep up the good work

.
And to answer your question, yes, there are people here who dreamed of/with DJ. One of my favorite dreams with him is when he showed me how to do the 'gait of power.' It was quite something, I do not think I would have been able to just stumble upon that one on my own. The body angle and position that he put me in for this gait was not something that I naturally do.

I remember when I first read don Juan and was all excited to learn. His teaching of impeccability and intent hit me hard. He said anything was possible. So I said I could learn from the ancient lineage of don Juan and other sorcerers directly from the source of creation and time. At first I just said it and knew I could do it then let it go. Like he said I abandoned my intent and trusted his teachings. Shortly after I found myself learning great lessons as if time held a record of every moment ever lived. Which is exactly true. It does. You can channel, or harness, lessons form the masters scattered all throughout time as if it were happening to you yourself. As if you were them.

I dreamed with DJ on 2 occasions

Both dreams were pretty weird.
In the first dream, he didn't say a word to me....he just kept dunking me repeatedly in a dark river at night, like he was baptizing me or something
On the next occasion, he met me in a dream in my room and whisked me away to a department clothing store, handing me some folded clothes he had picked out and told me to change in the dressing room (I sleep in my underwear

Once I was dressed, he told me something along the lines of needing to "assemble" something. I must not have understood, initially, because I was transported to a large machine/mechanics shop and began aggressively working on assembling a large metallic sculpture, using giant oversized circular saw and crazy looking motorized tools. He showed up and asked me what I was doing. I told him "I'm assembling....like you asked!" He laughed and said "no....not that kind of assembling". I was then transported to another dream in which I was outside a small country school in a mountain meadow....very beautiful and quaint. I walked through the door and saw several others gathering in a small meeting hall inside the school, sitting in the chairs arranged in front of a podium set up for whoever was supposed to speak. The "assembly" he referred to was a group of people gathered together...in this case was some kind of class or something
