Dream begins in Itallics towards the bottom, the rest is the intro:
I was alone in the office on Tuesday night 11/29 after hours (I was working late on my bday for some reason). It was maybe 7:30PM and I began to dose of at my desk. I awoke to the sound of one of the office doors shutting followed by what sounded like somebody taking a few steps and then silence. It startled me and so I went to check it out. Of course no one was there and everything was dark because my office light was the only one on, so I thought, "Eh, its as good a time as any to take off". Fast forward a couple days later when I was telling my coworkers about it on 12/2 (brief sidenote: my new coworker is who led me to these forums and where I really had a kick off some of the awesome posts on here like shared dreaming and such). As soon as I finished telling them the brief story, I walked 5 feet over to my office space. I began working on an email when one of my lights randomly shut off (I have two that are both controlled by one switch). This has never happened before, but I thought for some weird reason my coworkers were doing it to mess with me so I call out to see if they had done it. They were like, "What?? Noooo, we haven't gotten up." And I believed them because the light switch controls both lights, not just one. So my coworker (same one that got me here) starts walking over and when hes near, the light goes back on. Weird I thought, but okay. Never happened again.
Fast forward to 12/7. I am with a TEO (one of our temporary workers) and she comes in after her shift out in the field at around 5:30PM ( it is already dark out). I am again alone in the office with all the lights off except mine which she thinks is creepy and weird. I laugh at her reaction to that and we begin chatting about the story I wrote above^. I can tell she's getting a little put off at this point and I laugh it all off because I think this stuff is pretty interesting, cool, and I like to talk about it. So she begins telling me one of her recurring dreams that she had for over a month that messed with her so badly that she had to see a psychologist for several sessions. She begins to tell me about this dream where she sees her favorite uncle blowing his brains out. Pretty intense, but it came after he had committed suicide, but her aunt (the uncle's wife) refused to tell her what really happened. Like I said, she had this dream for a solid month, and she finally explained all the details to her aunt (where he was in the room, what he was wearing, which direction he shot himself, all the grisly details). Her aunt finally confirms that what she has been dreaming about for the past month is indeed the exact death of her uncle. As soon as our TEO realizes that she has been watching her uncle die in her dreams every night, the dream changes to one where her uncle is simply telling her, "Look in the box". At first, she did not understand what he meant, but she eventually figured out what box and found an old letter addressed to her from her uncle before he passed. She still keeps this letter and reads it often.
The reason I bring up this story is just because we were both sharing our stories of our non-physically explained experiences. The time is now like 6PM and our TEO takes off. Again I'm alone in the office working late in the dark. I decide to marinate in the engery that is hanging in the air. I don't feel like I am alone, but it is not a scary feeling or anything, but somethign that I want to explore because it is unknown, so I begin to meditate in the middle of the whole office in the dark and begin to dose off after about 25 minutes. I get home that same night and then I have a trippy dream (the whole point of this post haha):
In my dream, I am lying on my bedroom floor with an old friend Araceli lying next to me and some girl next to her. I don't recognize the girl, but the energy feels familiar and I assume its her sister. We are just chilling, talking about random stuff like meditating, spirits, ETs, and all sorts of cool stuff along th lines. While the three of us are all laughing and having a good time, the door to my bedroom busts open and freaks the girls out, but I assume it's my dog (he does it all the time awake). So now my dog is chilling with us and the door slowly shuts by itself because of the hinges nbd. Then bam! My alarm wakes me up. I shut it off and begin to dose back off. Never in my life have I ever gone back into a dream, even when I really wanted to go back to a specific dream, but for some reason I'm right back on the floor of my bedroom with the girls and we keep on talking and talking and I'm not sure if the conversation shifts or if we start talking about darker spirits, but you can feel the energy become heavier and not as fun. The girls are now getting a little freaked out about what we are talking about, but I do not remember what specifically it was. Anyway, the door begins to open, but much slower this time. And as the door is opening, we can feel something entering. Some sort of a dark energy/floating dark orb floats into the room and the girls are now legit freaking out, screaming and pushing into me. I try to keep the mood lighter and react nonchalantly about it. I grab a purple couch pillow next to me (IDK why its significant I mention the purple) and I'm like, "Come on girls, its nothing. Y'all are freaking out for nothing" In as light a mood as possible, and I swat at the orb thats now making its way towards me while crossing the girls. The pillow does go through it, but the energy is transferring to the pillow and slowly consuming it as I try and shake it off. I cannot and so I throw the pillow, but the energy is now transferring onto my arm which is now throwing me off and causing me to begin to slightly panic. I'm still trying to play it cool for the sake of the girls ( because they are screaming scared at this point) and I stand up as its overtaking my arm, and I reach for the ceiling fan in the center of the room right above my head. I pull the switch, but instead of the lights coming on, the lightbulb bursts and we are still in the darkness with this energy working its way up my shoulder. I have it set for some reason in my head that if I just simply got the lighit switch on, the energy would go away. So I'm standing at this point and my dog is also freaking out barking and growling at what seems to be me. He has his two front paws on me at this point as I'm trying to step over the girls and this energy is at my shoulder. I am kind of beginning to freak out at this point, especially because of my dog who never gets like this without reason. There is a hallway light right outside of my bedroom door and I am convinced that if I can just get the lights on that this energy will just disipate and release me. My dog is 95 lbs and really aggressive trying to get at me at this point, so he is making it really hard to get to the light switch while this energy is also working its way onto my back. I get into the hallway and as I am reaching for the lights, my dog grabs both of my hands in his mouth and is trying to pull me to the ground aggressively all while this energy is taking more over my back. At this point I'm fully freaking out and balancing on one foot as I try my damnest to reach the light with my toes as this energy is damn close to covering my torso and then Again! My alarm wakes me up! I wake up and shut off the damn alarm with the quickness and face the darkness of my room where this epic event just went down. I have that same strange tingling sensation or feeling when I wake up as I did in the dream when the energy was working its way on me.
I realize I'm writing a ton for my first post, but all the details kind of seemed important to me. I end up having this girl on my mind all morning and decide to call her at lunch time. Remember it was my friend Araceli who I hadn't seen in over a year and a half, but we talk periodically on snapchat. It turns out that she has a younger sister that I described from my dream and that Araceli is going through a rough patch in her life that she can't seem to move past and she couldn't even talk to her boyfriend about. It ends up being a really good thing that I called but it also really intrigued both of us how I was able to dream about her in kind of a symbolic meaningful gesture like that. Again, there were a lot of firsts for me in this dream. I've never consciously connected to somebody like that in a dream. I've never gone back into the same dream like that after waking up. And never have I ever dreamt of a black orb like that that tries to come over me in a not so threatening way, just weird because I've never experienced it. Oh and I also felt the weird tingling sensation after waking up. Feeling like whatever that energy was, was still with me slowly fading. All cool stuff that I want to learn more about.
