Hi,
I'm a beginner, I had just a few lucid dreams.
But few days ago, I was in a non-lucid dream and someone has collapsed so I ran to help him. But he rose up and he told me to wake me up because I was dreaming. He took me by surprise so I didn't make a dreaming exercise or ask him who is he and stupidly wake myself up.
My question is, it is possible that it is a projection of mine? if it is not, how can I contact him again to make me lucid again when I'm dreaming?
Other question, a lot more important for myself. To be more lucid, should I do some reality check like 'am I dreaming?' or a lot of inner silence and silently intent it when I'm going to sleep is enough?
Have a nice day

I too had only few lucid dreams and have them very occasionaly, most of the time I do not and so did my friend recommended me to instead of looking at my hands, which did not at me single time induced lucid dreaming to instead catch, grasp the dream by hands into, because the reality check did not worked as for me a trigger of focus for the awareness to take aware of position in dream;lucidity, because when I had to cross that borderline of dreaming with conscioussness, the silence did not made me "intact" with the intent of this practise, but when I started doing this exercise I became lucid double the time, then I was before.

Please, information about sock puppets should go into relevant threads not in threads about other things (as it derails the intent/topic of the threads). A place to ask or inform about your suspicion that a poster is a sock puppet would be here for example:

or

Littlepaw, as far as I can tell blazz is from a different location than NH. At the moment there is no reason to think he is a sock puppet.
I will delete these posts about the sock puppet issue in a few days, so the thread is about dreams..

Hi blazz, that is so cool that you were informed you were dreaming while dreaming . I am wishing for something like that to happen ever since I realized one can share dream. You know, it would make it much easier on me to realize im dreaming .
It is possible it was a projection, but what does it matter? Important thing is you get cues to wake up
Continue having the option of lucidity in your active awareness. Having the habit of questioning and checking your reality while awake helps, but most of all you need to be present in every moment, not on auto pilot, then you are present while dreaming too and you realize you are in a different reality.

I hope nobody minds my putting a video here but this song seems very appropriate for this thread.

Thx for your advices. Trying to put in practice what I read here for weeks now.
Here a phenomenon I had when I was going to sleep. This 'feeling' wake me up several times in the night. It was like if something was moving, like a sort of strong vibrations inside my body, it happened always in the belly area. Is that the dreaming body? My feeling about this is that it happens when my awareness is shifting from my waking state to the dreaming state. If you have any times to answer me, I would appreciate some explanations about it
ps: i'm not an english speaker so if you need i reformulate some stuff (here or in the future), just let me know

Thx, I think it will helps me. Are you just using it as a trigger to become lucid and then you watch your hands or you're using it too to keep the lucidity during a dream?

Since NagualHuman has been banned and I am the friend who recommended him that "trick"...
We both use it as a trigger and also to maintain lucidity.
The bodily sensation you got is your energy body waking up, the energy that awakens is used mostly as a focus, which then makes you dreaming
