Hello dreamers this is something that we all have experianced but most people don't like to talk about it.
This is something that I wanted to ask everyone and thats how you deal with nightmeres or did you do not have them?
I know alot of people don't like to talk about them as far the people that I talk to or if they do talk about nightmeres they don't elaborate on them and It would kind of interesting to here from you fellow dreaming folks.
I don't consider me as getting alot of nightmeres all I know is that I find myself in a reoccurring dream or one with continuety -A dream that you feel anchored or traped in a certain senerio that is hard to excape from until I would instictively arose to my dreaming attention to the occasion for the rescue and escaped the fixation if that happens sometimes it works other times it does'nt happen.
Does this happen to anyone else besides me I doubt it but I really don't know and if you do ,do you just let It happen when you run into a unplesant dreaming situation or do you change the course of the dream?
I have alot of dreams that I'm in a house that I own and it has rooms in it that you want to remodel and you feel Foreign energy infused in the house that you want to remodel and the F.E does'nt want you to change anything.
Does anyone have simular dreams that they would like to share regarding dreams that you feel entrapped in?
Aranno.

I don't know that I feel entrapped necessarily in reoccurring dreams but I don't seem to get anywhere in them. Two reoccurring dreams that I have are of a house (I have no idea if these are supposed to be the same house or not). It's a huge house. In one dream, I am always in a den (or living room) with a fireplace and many windows (not tons but more than normal) and a French style door leading to the outside, the back yard where there are many trees and eventually water. I cannot tell if this water is simply a stream but I get the feeling it's bigger than that. I end up walking or running in this backyard but for what? I have no idea. I do not feel fear but I do feel some sort of "on edge" feeling or anxious. In this same dream I sometimes am in a room in this house with wooden floors and no furniture. I can't really describe the area of this room with windows but it's almost like a tiny, miniature stage with just a couple of steps going up (does that make sense?) and there are big windows in this area but they are covered with big red velour curtains. The second dream dealing with this house always leads me to the attic. I always end up going up steps and going to the attic but I never seem to enter it. The steps are not plain boring attic steps, they have turns but not dangerous.
I have yet another reoccurring dream that deals with jails and tunnels but I think maybe I have an idea what that one is about. Can you make any sense out of these others?

"Can you make any sense out of these others?"
I'll give it a shot.
The house with the stage and the covered windows is you.
You are the center of it and the most important thing there. You are the star of your existence.
Next time go into the attic. Where your "old thing" the things hidden in your past are hidden.
The other house is also you. The windows are open and you can see furhter. There is also access to a much greater world if you walk through the French doors. Outside is a stream. It is the stream of life from the source. It can be a little scary, but it is worth exploring the outside and experiencing the flow from the stream.
This house and yard are an expansion of awareness, a widening of perception. You are afraid of it, but you also want it.
Check out the attic. How bad could it be. Walk out in the yard and go wading in the stream.Bob

I still have recurring dreams, but they have changed over the past years.
There does not seem to be fear, though some of my dreams are just as dark as they have ever been. In it's place, there always seems to be a sense of purpose; something that I have to do or accomplish within the context of the dream. There are characters sometimes that try and sway me from my purpose, but I seem to have developed an ability to keep the goal in mind.
Most of my dreams now seem to last the entire night.
But I wish that I had more lucid dreams and that I could remember more of the dreams that I have.Bob

Hello True Dream Binder, it would be interesting to here about your dreaming experiances that we could learn from and exchange ideas considering you have over 17,000 posts under your belt of posting.
In my opinion dreaming is the reflection of the infliction of the of the outside forces the we live with.
Discussions on dreaming have always intriqued me.

Bob May, thank you for the insight, and your thoughts about the dreams certainly seem to make sense to me. For a bit I was really into learning about dreaming (as you can probably tell by the name) but have since had so many things happening in my life that I could not devote the time to it. It still fascinates me though. I do have a question. You suggest I go into the attic and explore and such. How? I have heard before of people having control over their actions in their dreams but how do you start to do that?
Aranno, wow, I didn't realize that I had that many posts but it's true. LOL I used to run a board on ezboard and closed it a couple of years ago. I seldom even come to ez anymore and before getting Lone Wolf's email the only place I went to was the jrm board just to lurk and read. I stay away from ez most of the time due to the drama and trolls but this place seems to be great. My dreams have become much more mild over the years but now and then I'll have one that will flip me out LOL. None of my dreams seem to make any sense though until I let someone like you or Bob May have insight into them. We can certainly discuss them if you want to. I bet it would be interesting to hear some of what goes through your mind while you dream too.
I do feel that we can be sent message and warnings in our dreams. I just wish I could understand what I am supposed to do.

I am not much of a dreamer myself, not many lucid dreams. But I believe that our dreams do reflect our waking attitudes or forces in the outside world as arrano put it.
Also our inner world. Our dreams teach us about ourselves through the language of symbology. There are personal symbols and more or less universal symbols.
Start looking into your past and the things that bother you, things that you do not like about yourself. But look at it as if it were someone else. Like watching a television show, no judgement, just observe.
Do this for a while and you will find that next time this dream comes up you will go through the attic door. And you will be more in control of your emotional being in your waking life.

I will certainly work on it.
