Setting your intent for dreaming
#1
Something that works for me to beckon the dreaming attention is to exercise in everyday waking hours is what I would describe as setting up intent to dream and this is really actually fun for me and relates to recapping in dreams.
Everytime something happens in my ordinary waking hours that concerns me -{fear,inhibitions,violent encounters, attacking dogs, driving in unsafe conditions, weird feelings, bad vibes from people, severe storms, tornados,or anything that might be of intrest}-,I intend my dreaming attention or energy body as my first defense or reaction and it works.
When I dream and something happens that would warrant or trigger my dreaming attention or energy body my dreaming attention would arise to the occasion and It would turn a normally shitty dream into something exciting and adventurous and more rewarding by just intending it in your normal awareness.
A bonus to all this is when you are in your normal state of awareness and something triggers yor energy body and it will arise to the occasion and turn a normally shitty encounter into something manageable and it never has failed just by intending it all the time, and you get results in your everyday waking hours that you are up and asleep, in other words you never stop that intent of intending your other attention and in other stalking methods reach or beckon the totality of your being and treat every moment as if it is your last battle or last moment to be alive.
I now understand what D.J. was talking about and that is treat every act is if it is your last one by intending it and after awile when you do it warrior style you have to mask your formless body from your unbending intent when dealing with everyday people by controlled folly.
Sometime I scare myself by exposing my methods to other people by accident, they realize something just happened but can't figure out what just happened but deep down their body does and you scare alot of people and they fear you instinctively.
My problem is that my intent is weakened by distractions -"like a women thats got a really nice ass bending over and smiles at you, ugly people, stupid people, bad behavior, bad breath, idiotic behavior, world news and local news"-and I can't forget the obsession of paying my bills and trying not to get mad at my wife all the time.
A book that I recommend is a book by- ERIC HOFFER -"THE TRUE BELIEVER"- and it explains alot on peoples compulsion to believe in something and its pretty much a cook book on how to start a movement in society by controlling their relentless pursuit to join a cause and what drives them to do what they do.
What the book did is give me a sense of defense against the peoples movements and learn to disengage from society's attention magnets that consume most peoples energy of attention.
Always ask yourself what and why are you paying attention to this and- what else could I be paying attention too- and try to set it up to where you occupy or replace bad attention with good attention or never stop really trying to be aware of it and never take it for granted by going with the flow of the movement in our social academic structure.
Aranno.
