Imagine you were standing in your kitchen, and you see a beetle walking on the counter. Now imagine you are that beetle, not that you shape shifted into a beetle and are aware you are really a human, but you are that beetle and always have known yourself to be that beetle. Now imagine what the 'kitchen' looks like from the view of being a beetle. In truth we cannot know this, for as long as we are aware we are human we will always bring the element of human cognition into the beetle's perception. But still... imagine as much as possible how your view of this 'world' would be altered by simply perceiving as a non-human with no ties to human cognition.
This tells us not only are there worlds to be perceived, but in the vastness of perception itself lies the key to 'worlds'.

Interesting post.  Brings up a question for me, and maybe others here can answer it.  When shapeshifing or dreaming as another being, are you all aware that you are human in another body?  I've never really thought of this before and am curious what everyone else feels.

I once shapeshifted into a coyote in Dreaming, and I was only the coyote... always had been, always would be. I was trotting down a road deep inside Joshua Tree National Park, enjoying the moonlight and the wind in my fur. The road was rough but comforting on the pads of my feet, and I was utterly without agenda, without concern, just a trot in the moonlight. "I" as my humanform identity did not exist.
Other times when I have found myself inhabiting another form (usually another human), there is a duality of perception. There is the perception of the person I am in the dream, and the perception of me looking at the person I am in the dream.
So I guess I'd say it goes both ways.
