Why Remove Knowledge
#1
Seems appropriate to start a new thread on this topic.
Sometimes things are said which may not reflect things which we want them to.  It's like beginning a painting and then realizing it took a direction we did not intend.  The painting gets wiped clean and we begin again.  However it's useful to understand the reasons behind our actions... was it because we didn't like what was being said, was the message behind it uncomfortable, were we not being taken seriously, was it off topic, was it insulting, was it degrading?  What exactly was it that bothered us enough to make us remove words.
If knowledge is to be removed, it'd be nice to have an explanation or an acknowledgement of the removal.
Words are merely words and should mean nothing to us if we have no ego.  If they affect us then we should take a second look as to why.  For example, it affected me having the three threads removed... simply because I like hearing my own voice.  Lol.  Kidding... slightly.  What really bothered me was why it bothered someone else.  At first I started wondering if it was something I did or said... maybe I behaved in appropriately.  Then I realized it's not about ME silly... the world does not revolve around me.  I keep forgetting.  I like what I say most of the time, unless it hurts others then I don't like it so much.  Now I'm simply curious and want to take a closer look.
Where did I put my magnifying glass.... I bet I left it in my sock drawer...
