To shake self-pity you have to embrace it. To move in that direction, I suggest a short affirmation: "I accept being a victim". As you can obviously imagine, self-importance starts when you say/feel/intend "I REFUSE to be a victim (again)".
So repeat the affirmation at least 21 times. 108 would be better. Or a million. Your choice.
If self-pity is always in the back of your head, self-importance will NEVER dissolve.
You'll be Self-Pity on Wheels at all times.

Self-Importance is a natural defense mechanism, designed to preserve one's life. Social conditioning makes it an aberration.
Naguals sough tyrants willingly to grow beyond their pity. Such bravery isn't natural. It's a thing of unbending intent, for the assholes that want to grow more than impress others.

Well I agree we can mess up often But I dont believe we have to 'feed' anything. We can say no to it, by stoping the ID and clearing up the garbage in our minds and souls.

Interesting statement. So after acceptance, where is the victim? The whole "life" of the victim rested upon non-acceptance of circumstances.
But intending the right kind of acceptance, that's key. One form suggests "I accept to be dominated over" (still maintaining the idea of being victimized) and another form suggests "I accept (embrace) rather than struggle with my thoughts" (acknowledging its just a thought-perception).

Our past feelings of self-pity are dissolved by it. (worked wonders with mine)

Did you notice that if you are dying for something you believe in.. that your not afraid?
once you realise that you have no fear of death in truth!
you can study the "little deaths" you make all through life!
and provoded you keep on trucking toward the goals you believe in!
None of them are a burden.. as they are just part of the path ..
the path you intend! The obstacles you make allowances for!

yeah but! and there is always a but!
Although it has a certain martyrdom in shambling excruciating folley...
There is a certain futility in "just keeping on trucking".
I can never quite shake the feeling that for every burden i carry through honour!
there is a selfish man making light of his own!
I find it a travesty that the status quo in the sorcerers world is split between those who seek spiritual power to ease their burdens..
and those who carry burdens out of respect for spiritual power..
it stinks of hierarchy!
I carry burdens and wrestle challeneges of life out of respect for the nameless power of the infinite...
But there are disgracefull people who are happy to use FLUIDITY to occupy that comparative position so they can be superior..
I am not a slave to egocentric spiritualists..
and yet their poweful belief in their own divinity is almost unshakable..
even though they are weak pathetic worthless cheats of the honorable people around them..
they still call themselves SHAMEN..
even though they have never looked into the mirror to see themselves.. only others..
never travelled the underworld themselves... only watched the terror in the eyes of those they initiate..
there are people who have TAUGHT others all their lives...
and never become truly self aware..
why should we tolerate this?

The point i was making is that some people are BORN powerful!
and throughout their lives they have a capacity to witness power as it flows from ther perception and impacts others and worldly events..
over time they develop ideas and rationals as to where their situation in the universe is!
but never once do they apply their sobriety to their own social being!
However a warrior is in excruciating pain through being naked in front of the universe...
naked in front of the spiritual and the social world...
when he is given power.. he has the much understated power of EMPATHY with suffering!
which is why the warrior strips the petty tyrant of his power..
simply because he can explain the naked truth..
rather than just explainhow it feels to sit in a dark cupboard poking people "outside" with spiney sticks all day long and never really understanding himself!
theres no point in having power if you cant communicate something usefull..
and althought their is a statement that a stalker never reveals his identity..
the truth of the matter..
the warrior stalker never reveals his identity because he is so very full of life force he is like a peeled person..
just one layer of skin deeper than you.. but twice as loving!
hence you can never find him unless you love yourself when you look at him!
a petty tyrant "stalker" cant be found because he is such a wanker.. that you dont actually want to ever assemble his position!
as it would make your karma feel dirty!
which is essentially the reason why evil wins against innocence..
the innocent just dont ever want to experience perception that they dont see a purpose for...
and so they are niaive to the "bad person".
