Being responsible...

... is not a
decision. An irresponsible person can't take decisions! At most, this person
will own his decisions while they go well, to drop everything and run away when
things go sower (as they ocationally do), becoming cynical and opinionated in order to save face in front of friends, family and his/her own eyes.


So, what to do?
How are we to become responsible of all our actions and negligences in life and
death?

this topic is very interesting for me.....

one thing that has helped me to understand the idea of taking responsibility more is to realize that not making a decision is STILL a decision. i have found myself, in the past and even sometimes now, being lazy and disowning responsibility because i could always fall back on the idea that i didn't act or choose - so how could i possibly be held accountable? i thought at one point that i was strong for not taking sides - but when i examined my motives for not choosing, i saw that half of the time, it was due to fear. coming to the conclusion that even inaction and indecision is indeed a choice made that excuse flimsy and transparent. now, when i see myself heading in that direction, it's a whole different ball game. at least in the past, i might have been able to claim ignorance.... now when that happens, i try to make myself aware of why i am not deciding and affirm to myself that inaction or indecision is a choice that i am making in full awareness.

"how how how... how are we to become more responsible? When did we loose our responsibility? How are we to get it back?"

It's an important affair... if we are not responsible, we can't progress in this path.

If you're refering to the warrior's path, then yes, that's what I think. Being lazy or inactive is a concious or unconcious rejection of the spirit that is either a fear or self-importance based reaction. Do I know it? No. I don't know anything because I'm not a warrior. That's just how it seems to me.

In this way I open to the Power of creating and affecting all in my life.



Responsibility is also to act on what there is here and now according to ones Heart
