Energetic Assassination

In ancient texts it is said that gossip is like a death sentence, for your character is assassinated before you have a chance to represent yourself. If one cannot represent themselves without encountering prejudice they will be energetically wounded by the environment and this will disallow their ability to experience being more than what they are perceived as: they will be limited by the immoral conceptualization of those who focus from a lower part of themselves.Energetic assassination is one of the most severe and degrading activities that we will encounter as human beings. As a humanity we have become familiarized so extensively with gossip that this familiarization brings the practice into so-called normality. This state of affairs is so far removed from power that by mere association, in terms of acceptance of this phenomenon, we are being programmed to be desensitized to the greater part of ourselves.In this instance we substitute our power for the need to know non-essential information, which is a type of energetic illness that has afflicted many of us. Because of this we have fallen so low that we cannot see how far we have fallen and as a result of that falling we have sacrificed our personal power for a trivial exchange that means nothing in the end.There is a parallel subject that interlaces and interlocks with energetic assassination. What we mostly invoke when we defame another person is the idea of their past events, shown through that malicious gossip as a foregone conclusion that their character bears.When you have a thought or an impression of someone that is untrue, what you’re accessing is an image coupled with an emotion that becomes a stabilized attitude and this is an imprint. Now when this stabilized information is accessed by you, who have become the bearer of misfortune, it is usually reinforced by the one who has given you the information.This is a type of theft, unknown to you. By mere association with the one who wishes to assassinate, the giver of that gossip, you have substituted your knowledge of the real truths that can be accessed from your inner being. So not only has the assassin destroyed the character of their target, they have also assassinated your inner spirit through the implantation and stabilization of distorted facts.By virtue of this, one loses the ability to access one’s own true insights and we become enslaved to the principle of energetic assassination by association, so in essence our inner seer has been subdued and will be held in a prison of alignment by those assassins.This insidious loop that is reinforced, seemingly in every corner we turn, must be eliminated consciously. If we align ourselves with the better part of ourselves and avoid gossip we will be protected from outside influences and consequently will achieve a more sustainable base of energy and a greater degree of buoyancy.This buoyancy will give the bearer the ability to see through anything that may be presented by someone who is untrue and not trustworthy. By being further removed from our circumstances through that buoyancy we truly see who approaches and know how to proceed appropriately in comparison to our internal mechanisms of insight, which invariably will expand and diversify as one’s power increases.In this fashion the bearer of bad behavior will be caught before they act and so ultimately they will be locked within the realization of what’s been seen of them and will not be released until they change that behavior.Conversely, when a person lets go of these limiting behaviors this shift will be recognized by others, thus releasing them from a self-perpetuating loop that annihilates their ability to accumulate personal power, and allowing them to be who they really are.For us as a humanity to have the ability to see the truth of what is presented by those who approach, we need more energy. We should not wonder and inquire about someone’s past; we should see them as they arrive in front of us and no inquiries will be necessary because we will know who is presenting themselves, and this knowing is our heritage.It is better that we train ourselves to become aware of subtle inflections which come from our environment to warn us of what is there. This training is nobler and will yield each individual variance within their ability to see. Variance is where insight lies and true cognitive inversion on another level occurs.

I am not any more inclined to trust a text just because it is reportedly ancient. Which texts are you referring to?

I do not feel you are looking at the subject of gossip in the right light. Actions speak louder than words and gossip is just words!

I agree that actions speak louder than words even in the face of slander, yet our words are an act of intent. In the case of gossip, words are intent to subdue and disable another persons will by co-opting the agreement of others to bolster the effect of what really amounts to cowardice. Gossip would at the very least be a misplacement of energy and the worst, black magic.
I was with a group of colleagues, one of which started gossiping about another colleague who was not present. I found there to be some truth in what was been said, the rest was character assassination. Despite the pressure I felt from the unkind words I also knew that the words found no anchorage in me. I was surprised to observe that the words though pressuring me, had no power of persuasion over me. This time gossip did not grow in me.

Wow many new forum members here recently, great!

Allow me to introduce myself I am Littlepaw. It is not my real name but I do have little hands, not really paws coz no claws. They are more alien or lizard looking hands. I am a small person but I act like a tough man, I love to laugh but like being overly serious perhaps even more. Even though I was adopted at birth I still have a life impacting sense of not being loved or wanted. I am a trouble maker sometimes unreasonable but balanced with a kind nature and a great vision seeing potential where others see only obstacles. Enough about me.

Short answer is Draco's post seemed a bit dramatic and also like he has not really thought it through. Also seemed like he has an agenda in writing about gossip, my guess is that he feels gossiped about on this forum which he thinks is unfair because even without participation he has already received a death sentence.

To be honest Gold pearl please forgive my bluntness when I wonder what you actually know about Intent? It seems to me the way you use this term is just Castaneda jargen, something you read and think you understand as if all it takes to understand something is to read about it. You said yourself in your story that words had no power over you! I read that words used to have power and that these days they do not, maybe because our ability to say things without meaning them has evolved exponentially. Black magic I feel may be to slander the issues with lies but yet again it takes two to tell a lie, one to tell it and another to believe it!

If I am not mistaken the leading post is a quote from Lujans book. As I
read it trying to get get a sense of its meaning and how it applies in
my dealings with others it seems to me to be an energetic fact.
Intent
is a force, an energy that we use to colour our perception. If someone
slanders another basically that person is using their words to try fill
in the gaps I may have in my perception of the person spoken about. I
perceive another directly but then add other things into that perception
with  my intent, which may uphold that person or malign them. The way I
understand it is that the gossiper is using their intent to manipulate
my intent with words. They are trying to align my intent with theirs.
So, I understand intent to be a force we use in a beneficiall way or not , and in my experience we have become fascinated by this facade I and my fellow man present to each other.
I
am still impacted by others words depending on my state. As I generally do not have unbending intent I am at the mercy of my own flimsy intent
and that of others. Sometimes my intent is more aligned which makes me impervious to others intent.

I've read about a great deal about the force called Intent and as concepts go I understand it perfectly but what I do not do is confuse the fact that all my perceived understanding is worthless when it comes to having any practical grasp on the subject, and what good is it knowing about about something that you cannot use? Perhaps you do understand Intent, and by this I mean know how to use it, in which case you are far more qualified to talk about it than me!

I do apologize for my harsh tone I am just a little annoyed by what I perceive as warrior pretenders, perhaps that's what I am.

I wouldn't know if I am more qualified to speak of intent or not. I am only interested in investigating the depths of my being.
I am grateful for our interaction as it has helped me understand intent a little more and given me further thoughts about it. We all use intent but what I am after is finding a way to tip the scales in my favour.

One thing I am qualified to talk about is music. I got in to music when I was a kid and had a very cheap keyboard with a beat machine, not very high tech but would bounce audio tracks together on a tape to tape stereo creating my master pieces : ) I started learning guitar age 11 and started busking age 14. Every Saturday morning a friend and I would arrive early to the underpass tunnel eagerly awaiting the town goers who we would serenade with our young voices and popular music covers. My experiences grew over the years as I played with new musicians, I helped to organize open mic nights, I played gigs, recording in the studio and teach guitar.

If you asked me to write an instructional book on how to learn guitar I could do it. If you asked me to write a book about Intent I could not. The best I could do would be an entirely theoretical interpretation of the material already available on the subject. I know that theory is good to a certain point but once you understand a concept there is really not much point thinking about it any further which is why i am not really interested in hearing people talk about Intent, the Eagle, the assemblage point, seeing etc.....

Lets talk about patience, patience is a technique and I use it to accelerate learning. It may seem logical to talk about Intent as much as possible to try and understand it but are we learning something new or just going over what we already know? How can we learn something new if our heads are full of ideas about what we already know? For me I make a decision as a Warrior to be practical and I know that no amount of thinking about what I already know is going to teach me about intent so instead I learn about patience and while learning about patience I start to learn about the unknown. I begun wanting to know about Intent and in accepting and identifying the gap in my knowledge for what it is I am able to let my inquiry go. Unexpectedly I find a concept in its place which is the unknown! and this is precisely where my inquiry about intent has disappeared in to and power willing will one day return from. Everything I as yet do not know about Intent is lurking in the unknown so it makes complete sense to me that I need to not study Intent (the known) but instead need to use patience (technique) and study the unknown! I can liken this process to the saying that goes you will never find romance all the while you are looking for it but as soon as you forget about it you suddenly meet someone. There is truth in this. This, I believe, comes down to living in the present and using our resources wisely and having faith.

I am grateful for our interaction also. If I have learned anything at all from trying to be Warrior for all these years then I would like to be able to share it the same way I share my love of music.

I heard that true sorcerers and warriors act and think directly from unknown, without expectations nor inspections of the effect, so that itself than make sense inside recognisition that it happens spontaneously and not through lingering on what we know and think is right or wrong.
