Some thoughts on internal dialogue and how FI operates
#1
today I made some plans on how to work on stopping internal dialogue, it looked good to me,
but sudenly out of nowhere an thought appeared which said "It won't work", plain and simple.
I was kind of sure this had to be from FI, it could not be a messsage from spirit, because
my link to spirit is dead like death.
as a result, heres my theory of how internal dialogue and FI work together.

the internal dialogue is natural, even if there were no FI, we would be able ho have it.
it's like talking or running, the only problem is we are unable to stop it, we even don't
know we should stop it, or that it's possible to stop it. unfortunately like other doings,
internal dialogue is energy consuming and if it's not used wisely, the end result is we are half dead,
exhausted just by thinking. so we're like hampster in a wheel - de does not know he should stop sometime,
and if he would want to stop, he does not know how to jump out of it.
normaly the work of FI is pretty easy, just modulete and support the dialogue stream by
inserting thoughts and trifle ideas. for example, one is awakening in the morning thoughtless,
so FI picks some scary thought ("is the boss going to fire me today") , which kick starts the
dialogue in the "right" direction and FI can happily feast on the victim.
little harder work for the flyer comes when one tries to stop internal dialogue intentionaly.
I think the strategy is this - FI just backs off for a while waiting until the foucus
weakens ( and this inevitably happens , because we were never trained in focusing intent ), and once it
does, it tries to inconspicuously inject some ideas, thoughts, to start the dialogue again.
The reason for backing off
is that when the focus is clear, it would be obvious from where the thoughts are comming.
FI usualy manages to recreate dialogue soon enough before AP shift and the only thing that
remains is frustration.

Hi all))
maybe it is not easy to stop our thoughts, but our real playfield is our actions))
The FI can talk as much as it wants inside our heads, but is it on level of actions that these thoughts become or not reality->have a true influence on us and our world or not.
So, my personal opinion is that it is the moment of acting when we must really stalk the FI, because it is by our actions that it also learns in what way can best "trigger" us.
For example, you are stressed and your nerves are fragile. Someone comes to you and you feel an irresistible urge to just start shouting and diminishing him->FI.
The FI will win if you actually indulge in that behaviour. You will win and learn a lot if you take some deep breaths, realise you have no right to ipmose your self like that, realise the energy loss, learn your behavioural pattern, realise that being stressed in such degree only causes harm and helps nothing.
A poor example maybe, but i think you get the point))
It is true that for a warrior every moment is a battle)
i don't pretend it is easy, but it is not as difficult as they have taught us to beleive it is.

Interesting. Exactly what is the battle of the Warrior? What do we fight? Who do we fight for? Why?
We are all born of the Source, the Nahual. See it as a big globular sea. At the edge of this Sea of Purity, we are born. Our mission is to probe and extend the borders of this Sea of Purity. Probes are constantly coming into the battle...., the battle to extend our Sea of Purity.
Outside the Sea of Purity, there exists duality. We battle duality, in the effort to extend our Purity. We battle the forces of opposition; ... friction. As we overcome it, little by little, we extend the Great Sea of Purity.
Now, in order to probe the unknown, we are born. To be born means that we need to become individualized. We have to become aware of our 'self'. Thus we accept the alien energy (or entity, if you wish) that causes 'self reflection'.
This condition; an unnaturally self reflecting probe, thrust into an unnatural existence of duality, is the basis of our battleground.
It is the nature of life to extend and increase awareness. We can feel that in our 'individualized self'. A reflection of our true nature as drops in the Sea of Purity. Our goal is to extend the light into darkness. So how do we do that?
Even though we are individualized, we can overcome this feeling and identify ourselves as the Source. As such, the awareness of the whole becomes the basis for our every moment! Moment-to-moment Warrior.
Well, that's easy to say, right? How can we do it? RECAPITULATE. HEAL OUR COCOON. EMBRACE DEATH. The inner talking ceases when we stop considering the self. We stop considering the self when we have cleared the cocoon of personal history.
When we recapitulate, we clear personal history. When we heal our cocoon, we clear the energy centers and open the fiber ends to receive life from the Sea of Purity that sent us here as probes. When we embrace death, we are accepting those constant gifts of life from the Sea of Purity,.... instead of resisting them and blocking them with congested openings.
We are all in the Source. It takes SO MUCH more effort to remain separate than to accept the gifts of life and death! For the Standing Mother,
DG

You are right.
I can see one moment in my life where i felt the presence of death, i was surrounded by my family then. I felt the presence of death deeply and real and the vanity of it all. Honestly at that time only one thing made sense. Only one.. and it wasn't the experiences, or the path or enlightement or whatever. The only thing that made sense is to love those around me. nothing else.
this is my deepest truth)

This was a cut and paste from my site that Lone wolf provided.
Thank you Lone Wolf.
It talks or refers to hunting but you can apply it to whatever you see fit as far as being inaccessible to the outside forces and when you feel the whirling wind approaching shut off your internal dialog and emotions until it passes.
Don Juan said " It is getting dark. The world is very strange at this time of the day. We are very noticeable here and something is coming to us. It may seem to be wind to you, because wind is all you know. Here it comes. Look how it is searching for us. It's something that hides in the wind and looks like a whorl, a cloud, a mist, a face that twirls around. It moves in a specific direction. It either tumbles or it twirls. A hunter must know all that in order to move correctly.
To believe that the world is only as you think it is, is stupid. The world is a mysterious place. Especially in the twilight. This can follow us. It can make us tired or it might even kill us. At this time of the day, in the twilight, there is no wind. At this time there is only power.
If you would live out here in the wilderness you would know that during the twilight the wind becomes power. A hunter that is worth his salt knows that, and acts accordingly. He uses the twilight and that power hidden in the wind. If it is convenient to him, the hunter hides from the power by covering himself and remaining motionless until the twilight is gone and the power has sealed him into its protection.
The protection of the power seals you like in a cocoon. A hunter can stay out in the open and no puma or coyote or slimy bug could bother him. A mountain lion could come up to the hunters nose and sniff him, and if the hunter does not move, the lion would leave. I can guarantee you that.
If the hunter, on the other hand, wants to be noticed all he has to do is to stand on a hilltop at the time of the twilight and the power will nag him and seek him all night. Therefore, if a hunter wants to travel at night or if he wants to be kept awake he must make himself available to the wind.
Therein lies the secret of great hunters. To be available and unavailable at the precise turn of the road.
You must learn to become deliberately available and unavailable. As your life goes now, you are unwittingly available at all times. To be unavailable does not mean to hide or to be secretive but to be inaccessible. It makes no difference to hide if everyone knows that you are hiding.
We are fools, all of us, and you cannot be different. At one time in my life I, like you, made myself available over and over again until there was nothing of me left for anything except perhaps crying. And that I did, just like yourself.
You must take yourself away. You must retrieve yourself from the middle of the road. Your whole being is there, thus it is of no use to hide; you would only imagine that you are hidden. Being in the middle of the road means that everyone passing by watches your comings and goings.
The art of a hunter is to become inaccessible. To be inaccessible means that you touch the world around you sparingly. You don't expose yourself to the power of the wind unless it is mandatory. You don't use and squeeze people until they have shriveled to nothing, especially the people you love.
To be unavailable means that you deliberately avoid exhausting yourself and others. It means that you are not hungry and desperate.
A hunter knows he will lure game into his traps over and over again, so he doesn't worry. To worry is to become accessible, unwittingly accessible. And once you worry you cling to anything out of desperation; and once you cling you are bound to get exhausted or to exhaust whoever or whatever you are clinging to.
I've told you already that to be inaccessible does not mean to hide or to be secretive. It doesn't mean that you cannot deal with people either. A hunter uses his world sparingly and with tenderness regardless of whether the world might be things, or plants, or animals, or people, or power. A hunter deals intimately with his world and yet he is inaccessible to that same world. He is inaccessible because he's not squeezing his world out of shape. He taps it lightly, stays for as long as he needs to, and then swiftly moves away leaving hardly a mark."

The only dreams that I had today were of old behavior traits that are not tolerated in my life style and what makes me mad is that when such dreams happen it would trigger my dreaming attention and it did'nt happen.
At least it was just a dream, but still I won't tolerate dreams that violate my standards.

Not all inner dialog is from the FI. It may just be you.
Your subconscious mind. It is used to being in control and it is an animal mind,..conditioned,..trained into getting it's own way. Like a poorly trained pet or child, it must be retrained.
To retrain it we must go back to zero. Back to our basic self as when we first "put things together", when we first "started our world".
Relieiving ourselves of emotion is part of it by "recapitulation" or "mind awareness" as I have learned and practiced it.
The other part is stopping the internal dialog.
What has worked well for me is that I listen to my breathing when I want to turn off the internal dialog.
It gives my mind something to concentrate upon and it carries no meaning as words do. Since it carries no meaning, it does not add anything to your self-image.
Doktor Green is correct in comparing it with a death of sorts. It is the death of who we thought we were, which we have overlayed on top of our pure being which is BEING.
Try listening to your breathing. It has helped me. And if the dialog starts up again, just gently bring your mind back to your breathing. Eventually, your subconscious mind will start to enjoy the benefits of the "retraining", and give up.Bob
