Let's take a closer look at judgment.
No. 1 It is the Tonal
The part of us that judges, discriminates, discerns, etc., is Tonal. When we engage in judging, discriminating, or discerning, we affirm or fixate our position in the Tonal. The more we do it, the more fixated we become in the Tonal. Since most people live only in the Tonal, without access to their deeper knowing or direct knowledge, they often come out with and use some kind of criteria to help them navigate through life. While this makes sense, it is still a function in, of, and for the Tonal. This is fine and as it should be. However, if you desire to enter the Nahual, then perhaps it is time for you to try something different.
No. 2 It Separates Us from Others
Simply by discriminating, judging, and discerning, we have created or called into being our own separateness. What we are really doing is drawing a line in the sand between us and another person (or many persons), defining ourselves as separate from them. Thus, through this action, we are affirming our separateness from others and moving away from living inclusively.
No. 3 It Separates Ourself from Ourself
While in the Tonal, people are encased in their "me" bubbles. While in this "me" bubble people cannot connect or receive direct knowledge about other people, because every time they gaze out at another person, there gaze bounces off the interior of their "me" bubble back at them. All we can see while in the Tonal is the reflection of ourselves. Thus seeing only ourselves, what we 'like' our 'dislike' about another person is exactly what we 'like' our 'dislike' about ourselves. Indeed, even the extent of our 'like' or 'dislike' of the other person is in equal proportion to the extent we 'like' our 'dislike' it in ourselves! Judgment can only move us away from fully knowing ourselves.
No. 4 It is False
Any set of rules created within the Tonal is inherently flawed. We create it without direct knowledge or even a deeper knowing of the people or situations to which we apply it. In other words, we create our system of judgment without knowing who the other person is, without knowing who we are, without knowing what is really good or bad, and without knowing why we are doing it. Indeed, we create our system of judgment based on judgment.
No. 5 An Excuse to Place Responsibility on Others
The "Judge", who exists only in the Tonal, is a metaphor for a concept. When we talk about it, we say that "the" Judge or "our" Judge is blah blah blah and "the" victim or "our" victim is blah blah blah. What we are NOT saying is "I" am judging, or "I" and feeling like a victim. In the Tonal, the difference may seem subtle and insignificant. However, in terms of reaching the Nahual, the difference is vast and immensely significant. We must begin to accept ourselves, if we are to access the Nahual!
No. 6 It Is an Act of Self Love
The Tonal system of judgment is an act of self love. The very creation of a Tonal body is a direct manifestation of our love for our self. There is no doubt that people love themselves plenty, as we are all manifesting here on earth, aren't we? Finding out how much we love ourself is easy! All we have to do is look! Were manifesting it everywhere!
