Korean Body Image and Why They're Awesome

Korean spas are incredible. Everyone walks around naked and for me it's empowering. It's also fun. There's water to soak in, skin sloughing, and massage. The art of touch is such a huge deal too. I love being touched by healing hands. I'm such a softie when I'm in a Korean spa. In the Korean culture they would do this on a weekly basis and it fostered hygiene and connectivity. Many families would use this as an opportunity to catch up socially with one another. My family never did much of this growing up, but adult me loves the experience with friends.
