has eleven 10min. parts). It talks how do we meet the Path, how do we choose It and recognise It. And, at the end, what do we do with it!

I know a bit more than most folks on this forum. I studied formally with "the school" for about a dozen years.
I studied with the Gurdjieff foundation that takes it roots from Gurdjieff himself. The head of the foundation was Madame De Salzman, while I never met her, I
met Lord and Lady Pentland, Mr. Renard and a number of other senior teachers.
During the course of this time I had a chance to take part in the Movements, and many activities that stretched my attention in various ways.
At first I thought I knew what the Work was about ... but you see I was like the baffled scientist
in the Zen story, having his cup filled past overflowing.
you must first empty your cup ...
But then I realized ... eventually ... after a great deal of suffering ... that I really knew nothing, about myself, the Work, or how to proceed. I think at that point, I finally started ... to know ...
The Work is not easy you see ...

Thanks guys. Gurdjieff is heavy reading, but I have the feeling that It's worth the trouble.
The best concept that I know from him, to this day, is the concept of multiple personalities.

gurdjeiff was an awesome man!.. I like his ideas on the unit of his compadres!
frueds ideas turned to **** when he died.. as he was a mindmerchant!
gurdjeiff...had ideas si vibrant they still echo through our time... the real deal!

I first heard about Gurdjieff from the latin-american esoterist and master Samael Aun Weor. He was a great adept, but was somewhat narrow-minded
about his approach (he relied heavily in sexual magic for personal power and dream yoga for esoteric research and potential physical immortality).
