Hi Le Regard,

When reading through this thread I must admit I had to laugh!

I am pretty new to metaphysics in such and even newer to the Carlos Castaneda stuff.

The first person whose work I studied the most was Edgar Cayce. Indefinitely a different tone than Carlos' stuff but very informative non the less!

Although I am new I have been inhaling as much metaphysical stuff I can from all the verified resources (including Cayce).

Apparently most people are pretty subject to influence...most of the day most of us are. We are on "autopilot". Anytime a person is in autopilot they are subject to influence. The way I came across this information was that ly was presented to me when I first heard about people being controlled by others. I questioned how and the information came to me in a book I was reading on a different subject.

"Influence" is different than control however and different than rape! A car salesman can convince you to buy an overpriced car but you wont be a him to take him to jail for extortion!

When people are truly standing 1000 per cent in their presence  and paying fill attention and actually -using- their will, no one can influence them to do anything.  This is our "free- will". It isnt always that free. Only when we are paying attention.

Serloco wouldn't be able to coerce someone that truly in their will 100% did not want to.

I can reference info on this is if anyone wants.

Hello and welcome, now being a female, did you feel violated in any way when I intended you to want me?

Eh, I've known my fair share of killers too.  That experience will also require you to pull a number.  I don't think you fully appreciate how many people dislike me on this planet.  The numbers are insanely high.

Killing you would be a tragic waste of our planet's precious natural resources.

Well that's a relief, really. I was seriously concerned for my well being. Jeepers.

There seems to be a very fine line here between suggestion and coercion, and if we can collectively at least look into that, I apologize for doing the whole finger pointing rape rape rape thing.

I'm guessing the basic principle is that allegedly deep down they secretly, "unconsciously", really do want it, they've always wanted it, and all you've done is tune them into an opportunity.

Coercion would then seem to mean they DON'T want it, not at all, like NO PART OF THEM AT ALL WANTS IT.

But who is that? Who DOESN'T want it?  You end up in this slippery slope logic where rape becomes actually impossible.

Don't be silly. To hurt you I'd have to find you first. And of course, that is impossible.

Pass on the sources.  This thread is hopeless in terms of academia.  It's actually a music thread.  Feel free to stay on topic.

I am away from home right now away from most of my books. I believe the book I was reading that explained that was Edgar Cayce on the Kaballah by John Van Hauken. It could have been another book as I tend to inhale them but I am pretty sure it was that one. Van Haukenn was explaining that Cayce was showing off for a girl one time. He told her he could get people to do things. He then told her than he could get her brother to visit them the next day at "something o' clock" (her brother that hated him) and he actually did it. Then to explain how this worked he went tlinto a trance later and did a reading on himself and it was explained how he was able to do this. (Cayce, most famous psychic of all time). It was explained about the auto pilot thing and people most of the time not using their free will. Sorry I can't get the exact page number now but I am pretty sure it was in that book. The book as pretty dry aside from that so I don't reccomend it really but it did have some good tid bits of info.

Hi I am a woman. There are times that no amount of coercion would convince me of anything when it comes to the subject. There are a few specific examples...for instance being with someone from work...

Another example if my twin flame and I get back together and I am in a commited relationship...I wouldnt go there no matter how fine I think Serloco is : p

And yes aparently he did the hoodoo on me although I am just finding this out...¯\_(ツ)_/¯

This may seem like a weird direction to take this in, but sometimes when I'm at work my boss will tell me to do something. I don't HAVE TO, but also I do because if I don't I'll get fired and maybe be homeless and it's just easier to do it, isn't it? Is that "influence"?

That has actually happened to me a few times. Then end result was I lost my job. Still didn't sleep with anyone. *winning!*

lol

I think what I meant by that is it's...  I don't even know what to call it.  I'll take Edgar Cayce's word for it, but the idea of influence is way broader than applied telepathy.  Even if it's hoping you "like" their tweets, that's part of it.  Or usually they seem to be selling something.  Or telling you who to vote for.  Or which religion is the true one.

Particularly when it appeals to emotions.  Do you see this?
They're using LOVE to try and sell you a car.  Even if you need a car, as in you are actually shopping for a car, and even if Subaru makes great cars, this still feels more manipulative to me than helpful.

I'll accept that being tricked into buying a Subaru is not violent or malicious... it's just business. But it still feels weird. Love has nothing to do with this.

The theme here seems to be it only works if you 1.) aren't paying attention and 2.) don't know what's happening.

Adverts all look ridiculous when you take them out of context.

I talk to Serloco a lot. Actually our 1st conversation  was not that pleasant.

By coincedence I tried syrian rue for the first time after finally obtaining the ingredients. I went on a trip for healing purposes and was actually shown by spirit for a short instance that its not nice to be rude to people (regarding this instance) so I apologized and we became friends.
I dont care what kind of magic he dones because I have free will.
