Much to think about

Definitely, tons to think about. For me, I always enjoy reminding myself that as good as I am--I'm only as good as my team. The individuals who work together to help to keep me well informed. Life is beautiful when you realize that the only reason you're as good as you are is due to the many supportive and encouraging hands. I'm only as good as I am due to the individuals who've invested in me. I didn't merely arrive as an awesome individual. I had to become awesome. It required people to invest in me and believe in my success. It also required me to use those experiences to my benefit and then release that energy back.
These days I invest in others the way my mentors invested in me (and they still do, on occasion). Once we stop living for ourselves, we either plant the human spirit or plant trees. Teachers and arborists invest in the future, lining things up for success well beyond our own time on this planet. Our contribution to the world is a future worth living for. A lot to think about.

Yeah, your arrival on this planet was pretty blasé. Fortunately, you got yourself a team that made you a crackerjack dope divine girl! So, out of debt to them for turning you into a good girl, you work towards building a future where those who'll live then can more easily become crackerjack dope divine too. In order to line up things for success in this endeavor though you need to first find the problems the future holds. Then figure out what can be done now to fix them now. I like your idea to start by looking at having more teachers and arborists. Our posterity will benefit from knowledge and plants. But, what should the teachers teach? If you and I were to teach a history class, we'd probably teach very different things. Same, perhaps, with an ethics class. If I were to decide what classes should be taught, I'd start with a class on rationality, using a system I created myself to demonstrate when one is rational or irrational. Others might not agree with that. So who should teach what? And which version should be taught? It doesn't look any easier for the arborists. I mean, initially it seems easy. Just go out and plant some seeds. But which seeds should go where? Which trees and bushes work best together? What grasses do the ducks want around their ponds? But what about the fish that don't want ducks swimming on their pond, should they be able to say those grasses shouldn't be there? RUSH warned us of the dangers of poorly planned plantings long ago... So I guess we gotta make sure there's light for all of them. Boy, making sure the future is good enough for it's inhabitants to enjoy their here and now is going to take time. There's definitely a lot to think about.

I'm glad you're thinking more about your long term goals.
There are definitely many ways to approach life, each being different and unique in their own perspectives. Having a perspective that makes sense to you is good Do what you enjoy (or don't enjoy).I often seek out the spiritual warmth from those in my close circle. I find it important to be surrounded with people who bring a certain light and hope. It's nice to have people who care and invest in ways that matter to the population-at-large

Who said I was thinking at all? I'm just offering multiple perspectives. Here I'm presenting the case against thinking or worrying about tomorrow. Reminding people to just chill and take a moment to sit on the floor, lean back against their tower speakers, smoke a j, (or just shift your energy around as if you had), and enjoy the thump-thumpity-thump-thump of the bass as you listen to your favorite music take you away.
Want to pull up some floor? I'm about to kick up some Zeppelin, but of course you can play whatever you like. I'm not sure that I'll make you any awesomer if you chill with me, but I'm also not sure it was ever needed. I think you arrived good enough. Consider that why dontcha! ![]() And now, Zeppelin.

I generally only pull up floors with my crew. You've been the exception--though we've shifted into a new era. Change may or may not work in your favor. For now, you've got little I want. I've checked.

Do what you enjoy (or don't enjoy).
