FG, yeah...timing. And, acceptance of the inevitability of transience of whatever benefit good timing affords as it comes.....and goes
K, yeah....I like fluid ingenuity as well...especially in the context of gaming. Battle royale games like Fortnite afford (for those of us just barely good enough to slink around, strategically camping long enough to survive and make it into, perhaps, the top 5) an interesting view into competitive arenas....maybe to eventually be picked off by someone who will inevitably make it into the final 3 or 2, so one's ghost can watch in a disembodied state some maneuvers from the best as they battle to the end.
Whoever is King of the Hill is focused upon by myriad, multilateral stalking players who kill.....farm and loot...gathering weapons/resources as the shrinking circles inevitably compress the contenders together for that final show down until the King and those seeking to topple him are forced to square off. It's amazing to watch.....the ridiculousness of the jumping avatars, ripping off shotgun blasts, rocket launches, sniper shots...almost always in mid-air at the apogee of each bouncing leap.....fortresses fluidly and rapidly being constructed, climbed upon/within to gain the elevated advantage and over-peeking edge which are then also, constantly and simultaneously melted away under an endless barrage of enemy fire. Such a strange dance! Construction/destruction....jumping/bouncing/leaping.....ducking, peeking, firing, dodging. All about timing, speed/agility, anticipation, peripheral awareness. Man! Just an incredible thing to behold

And then...the other, slower, more insidious dance as the King's competitive edge wanes, inevitably, and the next prodigy gains the throne.
I like to play, content to be an occasionally worthy contender....almost exclusively by luck backed by a modicum of mostly casual skill. More than anything.....the whole thing is fun to watch
