I Refuse to Be Happy
#1
No matter what you do, I will most likely argue with you.  I'll need to be the dominant in our relationship.  This is due to my insecure childhood where I didn't have my intelligence validated by those who were rearing me.  Naturally, I grew into an adult who has very little concept of teamwork or sacrifice.  I must lead and if I'm not leading then I'll nip at those trying to lead me.  There's a term for people like me, who can't just let things go.  I have Oppositional Defiant Disorder.

DSM-5 criteria for diagnosis of ODD include both emotional and behavioral symptoms.Angry and irritable mood:

Often loses temper
Is often touchy or easily annoyed by others
Is often angry and resentful

Argumentative and defiant behavior:

Often argues with adults or people in authority
Often actively defies or refuses to comply with adults' requests or rules
Often deliberately annoys people
Often blames others for his or her mistakes or misbehavior

Vindictiveness:

Is often spiteful or vindictive
Has shown spiteful or vindictive behavior at least twice in the past six months

Who am I?
